"Princess Nathearys Targaryen,
niece of King Viserys Targaryen,
lived for five years of her
life in the fortresses
of Winterfell, here in the North,
where she blossomed into
one of the most beautiful
women who would go down
in the history of Westeros.
It is said that suitors
were numerous,
but her cousins
Cregan and Benjen Stark,
along with her best friend
Lorcan Blackwood, took it upon
themselves to scare away
as many as they could."

—Sansa Stark 299. d.C

v. life in the north

THE COLD OF WINTERFELL, IRONICALLY, felt cozy to the firstborn of the king's brother. Although winter chilled to the bone, for the Stark-Targaryen, it was a feeling of life. She had spent good times in King's Landing, where life was a constant game of intrigues and luxuries. However, her stay in Winterfell, surrounded by the warmth of her cousin and the rest of her family, was what truly gave meaning to her existence.

In King's Landing, she had learned the political games and subtleties of power, but in Winterfell, she found the strength of her roots. Every snowflake that fell, every gust of icy wind, reminded her of the history of her ancestors, the nobility and honor of the Starks, mixed with the passion and fire of the Targaryens.

The castle of Winterfell, with its imposing towers and sturdy walls, was a refuge both physical and emotional. Walking through the stone halls, feeling the cold breeze on her face as she crossed the courtyards, and listening to the stories told by the elders of the house were moments she deeply cherished.
