So I have...a bit of a problem with Nya. Now, before I get into this mess, I want to make something clear. I am NOT hating on Nya! I mean, every character gets on my nerves at some point, sure. But there is just one thing the Nya does that K I L L S me.
I will admit this annoys me a lot more than it should since Jay is my favorite ninja.
So you know in season 11, aka, the first season of the second show, Nya catches Jay (twice) and he says "Thank you Nya! I love you..." Well, when I first watched this, I was all like 'AWWWWW SO CUTE! UGH I LOVE JAY!"
But when I finished all of the seasons and I'd re-watch them I started thinking..Nya doesn't say it back. It just- it just hit me wrong I guess, got a little on my nerves, you know?
And then Seabound happened, aka, the season that collects my tears in a jar, and:
Nya: "Oh no, everyone is in danger from Wojira and my Yin has his lungs filled with water and he gonna die soon. I need to save them, I'll become the ocean..." Okay..that's sad but I'm not annoye- oh wait there's more!
*Kisses Jay's forehead then leaves and walks out onto the roof of the building everyone is in. Looks back to the FREAKING DOOR and MOUTHS (NOT SAYS) "I love you"*
😐 😑 😐 Are you kidding me?...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I'm sorry but....Girl! She has NEVER said she loves him (its even worse because he's said it MULTIPLE TIMES to her) and the first time she does is, not even saying it, but MOUTHING it and not to Jay, no, to the DOOR of the building he is in..I-I can't rn
(THIS IS WHERE THE SPOILER IS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)
It...just...gets...SO MUCH WORSE! I actually SCREAMED when this thing I'm bout to tell you happened!
So after Nya and Jay's fight in the Tournament Of The Sources, and she tried to make him remember her while they were fighting, she goes over to him and says, and I quote:
Nya: "I know you lost your memory, but you need to know the truth. I love you. I will always love you." *blink*...*angry yet confused yet sad blinking*
WHA-? It just kinda pisses me off that the first time she says "I love you" to him is when he is evil and has lost his memory.
And then I just straight up hurt when he replies with: Jay: "And I will always hate you." My pain was indescribable while watching this.
Alright, I'll say it one more time. I promise you that I am NOT HATING on Nya! It's just something about her never saying "I love you" back whenever Jay says it. I still L O V E the ship with ALL my heart and I wouldn't get rid of it if I could! <3
