TEMPEST

Madrygal Montouya

Frequents: The SPADE Club (co-owner of the club), District Attorney’s office (Husband’s Office: Ben Montouya), Red Bowling Alley (frequents twice a week, usually Mondays and Thursdays at noon nearing night).

Normally, it’s me who figures out where my targets frequent. Very few times do other people provide me with that information, but when they do, it’s because they’re desperate to get that ‘someone’ out of the picture. As is the Cult of Babylon.

I wonder why they want this lady dead. What’s the wife of a District Attorney’s got to do with a cult? Maybe she went undercover as a favor for her husband, and the cult leaders found out. Now, they’re trying to kill her before she can spill any of their secrets. Although my curiosity is strong, and I reeeeally want to know, I have a job to do; kill Madrygal Montouya.

I have to focus.

I can’t go to The SPADE Club and definitely not to the DA’s office. The best choice is to go to the bowling alley and try to befriend her.

It’s a good thing I’m loaded on maniax right now.

When I’m on maniax, I am a very likable person. I can feel the effects already. I have high energy, high perception of my surroundings, and heightened senses.

Instead of waiting outside, I go inside and begin to play. I already know what she looks like. They gave me a picture. She’s a slim lady with short white hair, brown eyes, and white eyebrows. Her most notable features are her white heart-shaped pupils.

Judging off her appearance, I stole some clothes for me to wear that would make her want to approach me.

“Oh my god!” Once I hear squealing, I know it’s my target approaching me. I throw the bowling ball at the pins, knocking them all down. Soft, warm hands squeeze my shoulders. “We have the same shirt!!!!”

I grin. “Oh my god! No way!” I squeal, pretending to share her joy. “Twinses!”

“We even have the same heels!”

No extroverted person could ever resist the opportunity to bond with someone who shares a similarity to them. People like things that remind them of them.

Similarity is one of the most important things for long-lasting relationships.

“If your bowling skills are as good as your taste in fashion, we should team up!”

She’s so giddy.

“What do you say?”

I nod.

“Eeek, Great!- For now, we practice. Next week, the real games start. Ok?” I nod. She squeals again and hugs me, squeezing me. Tight. It feels like a snake is wrapping itself around my body. “After this, let’s- Let’s go to the SPADE Club. What do you say?”

I nod.

She grabs me and drags me to an empty booth. “I think we’re the same size.” She pulls out a pair of bowling shoes from her expensive purse. “As much as I love your heels, we can’t play in those. Too dangerous.” She snickers and hands me the shoes.

I smile at her and nod.

I slip off my heels and put on the shoes.

“How do they fit?” She asked me, looking into my eyes intently.

“Snug.”

So far, everything is going as planned. She approached me as predicted, and now I just have to keep doing what I’m doing. Then I can kill her.
