TEMPEST

After serving myself a plate full of spaghetti, cronuts, mashed potatoes, and three hot peppers, we sit at an empty table. But only after Syrene points out my random assortments of food and makes fun of it.

I look at his plate. It is consistent with mashed potatoes, corn, string beans, and ham.

I turn to him. "What was the point of bringing in the other doms if you were the one coming all along?"

He grins. "That was actually my idea." He licks his lips. "I needed to see how you'd react for myself, to see what I was going to be dealing with."

I spin spaghetti around my fork. "Oh. So you were assessing me?"

"I was assessing how fast it'd take to cool you down." He explains. "And by comparison to others, it took longer. You are a very angry person. But luckily, I figured something out."

I roll my eyes.

I'm not an angry person... That was withdrawal. Plus, people annoy me.

"Here you go." A waiter places a bottle of tequila in the center of the table.

Great. Finally, I could feel the cold sweats coming back.

Before I can get my hands on it, Syrene grabs it and gives it to the waiter. I furrow my eyebrows. What the fuck??

"Is there a problem?"

"Yes." Syrene puts his hand on my belly. "She's pregnant."

The waiter gasps. "Oh my, I didn't know. I'll let all the waiters know not to give her anything intoxicating or alcoholic."

Syrene nods. "Thank you."

"Guys, guys..."

I scoff. "What the fuck?!"

He shrugs. "It's a good front." He points to my plate. "If I can't calm you down quick enough before you do anything erratic or crazy, we can just blame it on your pregnancy hormones."

I narrow my eyes at him.

Ooooh, that is a great fucking idea! But I don't want to have to pretend I'm pregnant!

"So, what names are we going to give the baby?" Syrene asked me.

I cross my arms and lean into the chair. "None because we just found out that I'm pregnant."

"Okay." He nods. "So if it's a boy, his name should be Calyx, and if it's a girl, we should give her your name."

"How do you know my name?"

He raises an eyebrow at me. "I'm talking about Fleur."

Oh. Right.

"You feeling ok?"

"I need to go to the bathroom." I get out of my seat and weave through all the people speaking to each other.

When I get to the bathroom, some lady is leaving. I take the liberty to swipe her phone and go to the furthest stall from the door.

I lean against the wall and dial Jupiter's number.

I need some dust. Pixie, fairy, or any kind of dust or powder is fine. I'm sick of going through withdrawal. It seems like once I get a taste of anything drug-related, it's ripped away from me, and I get thrust into a world full of cold sweats, aches, and dizziness.

I fucking hate it.

"WHAT'S UP, WHAT'S UP, JUPITER CAN'T COME TO THE PHONE RIGHT NOW-"

"ARGH!" I throw the phone against the wall and then stomp on it. I continue stomping on it till my hair's out of place and my foot's aching. "Why the fuck do you have a phone if you aren't going to fucking answer it???"
