On the next day, Jace isn't back. The boys are eating breakfast together like they always would. Just with the change that Jace is not with them. "Someone knows where the fuck Jace is?" Won asks looking at Sun, since he is Jace' roommate.
"He went to his Home...probably has to do something there...or he just wanted to stay the night there." Sun answers.
His mind is still racing. He asks himself if he should tell the others what Jace said yesterday. But Jace was right. Sun cares to much about Jace. The thought of making the others mad about Jace is terrible. He wants to stay with Jace. But he could never hurt or leave his other friends behind. Because Suns thouhts are racing through his mind, he stays silent.
Eventually Niki asks
"Is everything alright Sunny? You seem distracted..."
"Yes, I am fine. Dont worry" Sun forces a smile.
He doesn't want them to worry, to care. He doesnt want them to know about Jace' betrayal. He doesnt want to be judged for loving a traitor.
"I will go to my room now..." Sun says after finishing his breakfast.
He isn't even waiting for an answer. He isn't listening to the answers. He just thinks. He keeps thinking. He keeps seeing flashes of Jace.
"Stop already! He is a traitor! He wants to let Jay die. He would let the others die! What is wrong with you?!" Sun whispers to himself.
Suddenly a knock on the door stops Suns endless thoughts and he walks over to open the door. When he opens it he sees Jace. They stare at each other. Jace is smiling warm. 'Disgusting!' Sun thinks and slams the door shut.
"Heey! Sunny you can't just lock me out like that right? It's my room too!" Jace says through the door.
"Don't you dare call me by that name." Sun replies cold.
"Shi- Sweetie what happened to you? So cold towards me. Ts"
"SHUT UP! DON'T CALL ME BY THOSE NAMES!"
Jace chuckles through the door. Sun hears the sound of Jace' disgusting chuckle. The toxic sound of Jace' laughter.
"That you even have the nerve to laugh! You know exactly why I do NOT want to see you!" Sun yells.
Jace replies through the door, speaking so quiet that it sounds like a whisper "Sun let me in. I won't talk to you. But I would like to get into me room Yeah?"
"Go back were you came from than!" "I said, let. Me. In." Suns eyes flash red for a second. Without thinking he opens the door. Jace walks in and Pats on Suns shoulder
"I knew you would let me in eventually."
Sun feels nothing for a moment. When his feelings return he sees Jace sitting on his bed with a book in hand. Sun looks at his hands. They shake. 'Why the fuck did I open the door? What was that..?'
"Hey Sun! Come here, yes?" Jace asks after noticing Suns shaking hands. Sun shakes his head
"I won't go near you ever again. I hate you! I hate your stupid chuckles and your stupid words!"
"A few months ago you said you would love exactly those things. Remember?" Jace says looking into Suns eyes. Sun breaks the eye contact immediately.
"Yeah, but I didn't know you are a fucking traitor back then!"
"A traitor? What are you talking about?" Jace asks curious.
"YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! DON'T PLAY DUMB!" Sun paces to Jace angry.
"Now you're here...ts that you falled for that. I thought you'd be smarter Sun"
Jace wraps his arms around Suns waist pulling Sun to him.
"N..no! Let me go!"
Jace chuckles again.
"You came to me all alone. Where is the problem Sun?"
"I dont want to see you! I dont want to feel your touch! Not now! Not when you would be completely fine when my friends would die!"
"Do you care more about your friends than you do about your love, Sunny?" Sun stops breathing for a moment before he answers
"Right now...right now I do Jace! Because you disgust me! Your stupid handsome face disgusts me!" Jace tilts Suns head up with his thumb
"What was that?" He asks cold. Sun repeats "You are disgusting! You disgust me! Everything of you disgusts me!"
Suddenly Jace kisses Sun.
Sun tenses up but then he relaxes melting into Jace touch and the feeling of his lips. Then he snaps back again pushing him away from Jace "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Sun yells tears are pricking at the corners of his eyes and he rushes out the room.
Sun goes up to the rooftop. The only place he could relax his thoughts for at least a minute. He touches his lips with his shaking fingers.
"Damn it...why does this keep happening..." sun mumbles to himself. He hears Shino asking
"What keeps happening?"
With a curious and worried voice. "Ah! Shino...I didn't notice you..." "Sorry did I startle you?" Shino asks, worried again.
"No, no it's okay."
"Now tell me, what keeps happening? Is it something about Jace?"
Sun nods slowly.
"Oh no not again...what happened this time?"
Shino asks sitting down next to Sun. "I...I can't really say it..."
Suns mind is filled with the question again If he should tell them about Jace' disgusting opinion on the others. "Of course you can say it! No one will judge you. Dont worry Sunny!" Shino assures.
Sun sighs but eventually speaks up "Jace told me something...something that is extremely disgusting! It makes me so mad but...I keep thinking about him...this is all so weird..."
Shino looks confused
"What did he tell you?"
"He...he told me he would be fine with one of you dying. He told me he wants to see especially Jay die..."
Shino freezes for a moment.
"Damn...I did not thought Jace would...okay wow..."
"And something weird happened today..."
Shino tilts his head waiting for Sun to continue.
"When he was knocking on the door, I didn't want to let him in. I was angry and I just didn't want to see him. But all of a sudden my mind went completely blank and I opened the door...I dont know what that was"
Sun explains.
Shinos jaw drops.
"Do you think he manipulated you?! As in, brain controlling?!"
"What? Do you think Jace is able to do that?"
Sun asks worried.
"Well he comes out of a powerful family so its possible right? And when you say you were completely against letting Jace in and all of a sudden you do it anyway...I mean its sounds suspicious." Sun looks at the sky. "You're right..."
"Sun...did something happen lately? Is something bothering you?" Shino asks suddenly.
"What? What do you mean...?"
"You changed...A lot. You are closing of bit by bit." Sun stares at Shino.
"I do? I didn't even notice that..." "Sunny?" Shino asks again.
"Well...let's put it simple. My mind is getting weirder and weirder. Sometimes its racing with thoughts. On other days its completely empty and I feel like I never felt something I my life. I dont know what this is but...it keeps happening. This is what I was talking about earlier"
Shino gently hugs Sun.
"I think you should talk with the others as well...don't keep this a secret. Maybe it could be something affected by the curse...please dont risk it..." He says.
"You're right. I should tell the others as well....Jace could be a threat...Maybe he is planning something...maybe even something with me....If your right and Jace really starts to manipulate me then...."
Sun stops taking a deep breath
"Thank you Shino."
Shino nods.
"No worries Sunny!"
Sun and Shino sit a little bit longer on the rooftop, chatting with each other about many different topics. Sun and Shino were childhood friends. The feeling of chatting alone again, like they would back in their childhood, fills them both with happiness. Eventually Shino gets up
"I think I will head back now. I want to spend the evening with drawing. But if you need to talk, you know where to find me" Shino chuckles and heads towards his and Wons room. Sun sits there for a bit longer, until he also heads back to his room.
Sun opens the door. Jace still siting on the bed reading. Sun avoids to look at Jace not wanting any attention from him. And Jace actually does not talk to Sun. He noticed him. He definitely did. But he doesn't say a word. He just reads. Sun sits down at his desk starting to write poems.
Ui....this was a long chapter focused on Sun! As I said in Jays chapter. The characters all be having a little focused chapter :3 I hope you like that! I do this so you guys get to know the characters better and you can understand their reactions and situations.
