The Darkness cursed ones

-Chapter 7-

"J...Jay..." Shino stutters shocked.
"What...what are we going to do with his body? We can't touch it but it also can't stay here." Won asks.
Heesan thinks for a moment
"We can summon the darkening room. Its probably the only way we can-"
Niki interrupts Heesan
"But if we...If we do this then Jay will die faster! And we don't have any idea on how to break the curse or how to get him back or anything. If he really dies then..."
Niki stops and breaths out slowly.
"Nevermind...j..just do what you want to do...I guess.."
Niki leaves the room and heads towards his own.
"Well that was weird." Won comments.
Heesan watches Niki go until he is out of sight.
He sighs and turns back to his remaining friends.
"Let's summon it. It's the only way we can make sure no one touches...or sacrifices himself for Jay. Not yet. We need to at least try to find a way to break the curse!" Heesan explains.
The others nod.
Soon, the boys stand in a black void with the statue of Jay.
'Please...don't die Jay. Don't leave us, we...they need you...Hold on, I will get you out...I will get you back. And then we fight against Jace, we will beat him and safe Sun out of his disgusting hands....just...hold on.' Heesan thinks in hope that Jay can hear his thoughts.

After the boys closed the darkening room, Heesan heads towards his and Nikis room. As he opens the door, he expects Niki to greet him cheerfully like he always does. But this time, Niki is nowhere. Heesan was sure Niki went into the room and he also didn't come back to the living room or at least passing through it. The only place he could go without passing the living room would be the rooftop. 'The rooftop? Why would he-' Heesan stops his thoughts with a gasp as he realizes. He runs up the stairs to the rooftop. He opens the door and sees Niki huddled, shaking. "Niki! N..niki?" Heesan kneels down next to Niki. Niki doesn't look up. "Niki, hey! Talk to me. Please?" Heesan tries.
Niki looks up slightly. His face wet with tears and his turquoise eyes shining with guilt and sadness.
Heesan startles at the sight. The cheerful happy Niki, so down and broken.
"Nik...what's...why are you so..." Heesan fails to get the right words.
He sighs wiping the tears from Nikis cheek.
"It's my fault...again right? It's my fault...always...and it is again. He died because of me....its all my fault Heesan!" Niki sobs. His voice is raising, blame, guilt and sadness mixed into it.
"ITS MY FAULT!"
Heesan stares into Nikis eyes which fill with tears again.
"No...no it's not. Listen to me Nik." Heesan tries to stay calm.
"I don't want to! You will tell me just the same! But of course you would say it's not my fault! Because we are friends and you don't want to make me feel bad! But if you don't tell me the truth then I am feeling bad!" Niki exclaims.
"What truth? Niki this is the truth! You don't want to accept it! You always blame yourself for everything! But this. This was not your fault Niki! It was not!" Heesans voice raises too.
"IT WAS!" Niki screams. "If I wasn't there then he wouldn't have had to protect me! Then he wouldn't have been hit by the darkness!"
"If you wouldn't be here then Shino would have been injured, or even killed by Sun!" Heesan yells.
"That's not even true! One of the others would have helped him!" Niki protests.
"No...no niki. If you wouldn't be here then we would have died that day when the darkness first came up to our house."
Niki opens his mouth to say something, but as he listens to Heesans words, his body is failing. He sits back down.
"You get it? Without you we would be dead." Heesan repeats.
Niki shakes his head.
"Stop..." he whispers.
"Niki not everything is your fault! Stop blaming yourself!"
"BUT ITS TRUE! IF I WOULDNT BE HERE THEN JAY WOULD LIVE NOW! IF I WOULDN'T BE HERE ALL THOSE INNOCENT FAMILIES WOULD LIVE NOW! IF I WOULDN'T BE HERE MY PARENTS WOULD HAVE A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP!" Niki yells almost screaming.
"Niki..." Heesan breaths shocked.
Niki starts to cry and shake again.
"I am useless...and I am worthless! I should just...disappear! I should have never been born!" Niki sobs.
"What? No Niki! You are not useless! And for creators sake you are definitely not worthless! Do you know how much you mean to me? To the others?"
Niki doesnt respond
"And hell, your father is a twisted bitch! Not only did he put SO MUCH pressure on you with his stupid expectations of a perfect student or a perfect son or whatever he was looking for, he also hurted you physically! And on top of that shit he let you grow up in an assassin training camp just so you get traumatized and follow whatever he says! That he is toxic to your mother has nothing to do with you!" Heesan explains upset.
Niki breaths shaky.
Heesan grabs Nikis hand.
"Look at me...come on."
Niki looks up slowly.
"You are so much more than your father has told you. And I care about you. Everyone of us does. Now tell me, It wasn't your fault." Heesan says in a soothing voice.
"I..." Niki struggles. He sighs and hugs Heesan.
"Maybe it wasn't my fault...but what if that happens again...and...what if...what if it happens to you?" Niki asks scared.
"Its okay Niki. Then you have to stay strong for the others. And for Me."
Niki shakes his head.
"I couldn't!"
"Niki? Where is this coming from?"
"I need you! I can't imagine how my life would be if you would die!"
Heesan listens careful to Niki.
"I won't die its okay. I will fight as much as I can." Heesan explains.
"What if it happens to you? I don't want to think about it...but it keeps flashing up. What if it happens to you?" Niki repeats digging his fingernails into Heesans shoulders.
"Niki calm down..."
"I DON'T WANT THAT IT HAPPENS TO YOU! I DON'T WANT THAT YOU DIE!"
"H..hey! Niki everything is okay I am right he-"
"I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE BECAUSE, I LOVE YOU HEESAN!" Niki screams.
"I am right here Niki don't...wait.. what did you say?"

Oh my god. A chapter with Backstory AND a love confession!? :3 Yayy its Nikis focused Chapter!
