Jay sits at his desk, writing into his Notebook.
Heesan enters the room, carefully.
"Hey, Jay?"
Jay looks up.
Heesan hesitates at Jays intense stare.
Jay sighs.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to look at you like this...I am just a bit stressed."
He says.
Heesan nods.
"What are you even doing there?"
"I try to make a plan to get Sun back."
Jay explains.
Heesan walks over next to Jay.
"Jay, maybe we should do that all together. Why should you be the one who destroys himself?"
Jay hesitates, but nods eventually.
Heesan smiles at Jay.
Jay and Heesan enter the livingroom, where the others are all busy with something.
"Guys?"
Jay asks to get their attention.
They look to Jay and Heesan.
"Yeaah?"
Won asks.
Jay sits down on the couch.
"I...I want to make a plan to get Sun back to us"
"A plan? We just go to Jace' palace, kill this stupid traitor and Sun is free."
Won says.
Niki shakes his head.
"You saw how strong he is. If he doesnt kill us first, he'll manipulate our minds too."
"You think I can't handle this guy?"
Won asks angry.
"Won, Calm down. Besides, Niki is right. Jace is really strong"
Shino explains.
After endless discussions Niki, who was silent all the time, speaks up.
"We go to the palace, Jay and Heesan go from the front, Shino on the left side, me on the right and won from behind."
"That...could work."
Heesan says.
"But it's risky. Really risky."
Jay adds.
"Everything we could do is risky. Just trying to get Sun back is risky."
Shino says.
Jay nods.
"Nikis plan it is then."
They walk to Jace' palace together.
As they get closer, the atmosphere becomes increasingly tensed.
"Why is it so dark here?"
Niki asks whispering.
"Pah. Probably because of Jace' dark soul"
Won spits out.
"Won, take this serious here."
Jay warns.
Won rolls his eyes but stays silent.
They stand infront the palace.
Just as they want to split up, according to Nikis plan, Jace and Sun come out of the palace.
Suns eyes empty and lifeless.
Jace with a smirk on his face, amusement in his eyes.
"Well, well. My beautiful friends. How you're doing?"
He says.
The boys tense up, ready to fight.
"Whoaa, relax. I am not here to fight...yet."
"Give us Sun back!"
Shino yells.
"Never."
Jace answers cold.
"I want don't want to fight. I just want to warn you."
He continues.
"Warn us?"
Niki asks insecure.
"Yes. Our precious Jay is not as innocent as you think. This man is the real monster among us."
Jace explains.
Wons anger boils up
"SHUT UP!"
he yells
"JAY IS NOT A TRAITOR LIKE YOU ARE! HE IS A CARING FRIEND. BUT YOU PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF THAT!"
Shino tries to calm Won down, not wanting that Won starts the fight.
Heesans voice rises as well
"Now gives us Sun back! We won't leave without him!"
Jace shakes his head disappointed.
"You are just forcing me to fight...well, well that's how it is then."
Jace sends Sun to fight against the boys again.
Just as Sun would reach Jay, Won punches him into the side.
Sun falls to the ground.
Jace wants to attack too but suddenly the sky gets dark.
Everyone freezes as they see a huge cloud of darkness lingering over them.
In the blink of an eye, the cloud crashes down.
The bracelets can't take so much darkness at once and all of them break.
Jay wants to safe them in the last second and teleports everyone, including Sun and Jace, into the darkening room.
But it was to late.
Soon they all stand in the black void, turned into stone.
It feels like an eternity.
Everything is silent.
Until Jay slowly returns to normal.
He takes a sharp breath as he sees all his friends as statues.
Then his mind races with questions.
Why did he turned normal again?
How is he supposed to save his friends?
What is he supposed to do?
Jay wants to leave, find a way, just some way, to get his friends back.
But he can't.
He can't leave his friends behind.
He is torn between the decisions of leaving or sacrificing.
In the end, he chose the second option.
He walks over to Heesan.
He touches his cheek.
"Please work..."
He mumbles before he turns back to stone.
Jays theory, he made about a month ago, is that if a cursed person touches a already turned to stone one, the stoned person turns to normal, and the cursed one takes the place as the statue.
Jays theory is true.
Heesan slowly turns back to normal.
The same questions running through his head.
Then he realizes.
"Jay...your theory...is true?"
He mumbles.
Now he faces the decision.
Leave or sacrifice.
But also he can't leave.
He can't get himself to leave.
This goes on and on.
One person turns normal, and the previous person to stone.
They all can't leave.
The promise repeating in their heads.
The only one, who wasnt turned back to normal, were Sun and Jace.
Sun could be still controlled by Jace.
And Jace would let them die.
Shino, who is the one normal now,
turns to Jay.
"You're our leader...and you will save us I am sure! You know more about the situation than any of us...Save us...please"
He mumbles before he sacrifices himself, to turn Jay normal.
Jay gasps.
He realizes.
"They...all couldn't leave...they all...I need to...I need to find a way!"
Jay looks at his friends once more saying in a clear voice.
"Hold on guys. I will get you out of here, no matter what!"
Jay teleports out of the darkening room.
He stands infront of Jace' palace.
Jay turns around and runs back home.
Once he arrived in his room, he gets every note, every theory, everything he ever wrote about the curse out.
He starts to read through them, starts to write new theories, new notes, new thoughts.
Everything to get them back.
