Chapter 17| Phanta

I know how it feels. Phanta said to Charisma

Feels what? Charisma was confused.

Jealousy.

Jealosy? Jelous for whom?

I know you. Even if you don't say it. I know it. Phanta told Charisma.

How? you don't even know how to love Phanta. Charisma said.

Phanta smized. My mom and dad was brought from Hella to Labano Kingdom. I was a simple girl living in the shore of Labano Kingdom. As a little girl who loves the sea, i love searching every pieces of unique rocks, shells, corals and everything that i found in the sand. I always sneak out from our house just to swim, dance, and play in the ocean whatever time i wanted. It feels like the ocean was calling me. One day, i was mesmerized with the beauty of the ocean and decided to swim despite of big waves coming in and out until the wave brought me under the sea and hit my head in a big rock until i lost my consciousness. I was struggling to open my eyes until i found myself in the shore and saw a boy starring at me.

You? who are you? Phanta said.

I am Basti. The boy replied.

Phanta tried to stand up until he saw Basti.

Phanta pointed her finger towards Basti and shouted "Ahhh merman??? "

Basti replied, please don't be scared. You were drowning and you hit your head in the stone. I just saved you.

Am i supposed to say thank you? Phanta replied.

Dont' bother. Basti said as he crawl towards the sea.

Wa...wait! Ahm okey how am i supposed to say this.. ahmmmm tha...thank you?

Basti smiled. You're welcome.

Basti quickly vanished from the sea shore and dive in the ocean.

From that day, i can't stop thinking of Basti. I can feel red flashed in my cheeks and butterflies in my stomach eveytime i think of him. His face, his voice, his smile.

I have spent my whole time in the sea but not to play and search corals and rocks. But, to see him again.

I kept searching , looking and waiting until..

I was eighteen back then when I finally saw what i am waiting for a long time.

Hi.

I heard a deep masculine voice hiding from a big chunk of rock.

I quickly went to the rock and saw a masculine, handsome merman. He has a curly and shiny brownish hair, his eyes is very round and greenish. He has a perfectly chiscled jawline. His nose is very pointed and with a very thick and pinkish lips. His body was very manly. It was like molded from the Greek Gods. He has a Dark bluish long tails and suits him very perfectly.

Ahh... he..hello?? i replied while peeking at the rock.

Hello Pantha. The Merman responded with his twinkle cheeky eyes

I blushed as I heard his response and I quickly noticed who this merman is. The one I've been thinking for along time. The one I've been wanted to see. The one who saved me. Its Basti.

Ba.. Basti??

Hello Pantha. It's been along time.

I had so much emotions on that time that I did not noticed I am already sitting beside Basti while looking on his eyes.

On that moment, we felt something magical. My heart beats like a drum. Basti grabbed my hand while looking at me until we smiled at each other and shared a passionate kiss. Basti wrapped his body around me. I am ready to give myself to this merman. Tears fell down from my eyes as I felt Basti's body against mine.

I love you. I whispered.

Basti smiled and kissed my lips. We shared a warm night with sweet hugs and kisses

I woke up because of the intense heat of the sun. I found myself lying alone on the sand. I looked around to look for Basti but I couldn't see him.

Is it all just a dream? I asked myself.

I held my chest until I felt someone hanging on my neck. I remember Basti gave his pearl necklace the night we were together. I smiled. I couldn't hold back the thrill when the memories we shared last night came back to me.

But it got me thinking. Where is Basti? Why did he suddenly disappear? Will he come back? Will he take me back? Do we feel the same? Does he love me like I love him?

For a few days, I felt strange in my body. I'm always hungry, I feel dizzy, nauseous and I get tired easily and my stomach grows.

Basti and I's love paid off. I got pregnant.
I was overjoyed and couldn't wait to tell Basti that I was pregnant with our child. A few months later I gave birth to a mermaid.

My parents were surprised when they saw that I gave birth to a mermaid. eThey cannot accept it. So I left our home and chose to live with my daughter while hoping that Basti would come back to me.

Days, months, and years passed but Basti never appeared again. Basti caused me great anger and pain. Every time I see our daughter, it's like I want to give her my anger towards his father. Becauae I didn't want my daughter to get hurt, I threw her into the sea.

My daughter, forgive me. I love you very much and I don't want to give you the anger that your father gave me.

I removed the pearl necklace and put it on my daughter.
