Chapter 5| Karina

Achilles is feeling anxious as Arianna is still not showing up. Clara tried to comfort Achilles and promised to help him find Arianna. Achilles thought that it might be good if they can help one another. Clara will helped Achilles look for Arianna while Achilles will also help Clara look for her mom and Karina.

I'm wondering Achilles, why are you here? asked Clara.

Achilles responded, Me and Arianna are here for a mission. A mission to save our family.. a mission to save Marivellos. We are looking for the 2 warriors with a pure heart and the 4 magical treasures. These treasures will help Marivellos to bring back the prosperity and balance on this planet.

Clara was amazed.

Thats a big responsibility Achilles.

It is. We are not doing this for ourselves.. but for Marivellos.

Clara suddenly felt sad.

Achilles noticed it and asked Clara, you look sad Clara.

Clara responded, I just miss my mom so much and now I dont know where my sister is. We came here to save my mom. We heard a woman's voice in the sword section. We tried to follow it. But unfortunately we lost our ways. We accidentally separated from each other.

Dont worry Clara, we will find them. Achilles said it with conviction as he was trying to cheer up Clara.

Be ready. Lets start our mission tonight Clara.

Clara smiled widely and said  Im ready Achilles!

Fina was thrown to the dungeon where all prisoners did not survived. The dungeon is a small underground room for prisoners. All slaves that were accused and had woken up from Blake's illusion because of their strong purified soul were locked up in the dungeon until they loose their mind due to sadness, depression, hunger, thirst and hypoxia. No prisoner has survived the emotional torture that they felt inside the dungeon.

Hi.. a woman's voice whispered to Fina.

Fina tried to find the woman's voice until she saw the woman in the darkest corner of the dungeon. She slowly walked towards the corner where the woman was hiding.

Hello... I'm Fina.. do not be afraid.. I am a friend. You can trust me. The woman slowly walked out from the dark. She reached her hand to Fina.

Hi, my name is Arianna.

Hello Arianna. Fina greeted.

How did you got here?

Arianna responded, me and my friend was in a mission. All along i thought my friend was behind me.. a soldier suddenly grabbed me from behind and then I lost my consciousness. When I woke up, I'm here. How about you Fina? When they brought you here you were crying and you looked depressed. What happened? Why did they brought you here?

Fina had a deep breath then started to narrate everything to Arianna.

My daughter sacrified her life for me. I have 2 daughters namely Karina and Clara. We are from Purity. I love my daughters more than you ever know. Well i think all mothers in this planet is willing to give everything for their children. My eldest daughter is Karina. Can I tell you a secret Arianna?

Arianna nodded. Yes you can trust me.

My eldest daughter, Karina is not a Marivellian. She is actually a Hellian. Fina inhaled deeply and said..

She is Drakulo's daughter. I was walking in the middle of the night going home from my cousin's place. While walking, I felt something strange. Drakulo blinded me. I cannot see anything. The only thing that I can see is darkness. Someone attacked me from behind. He forced me and before I loose my consciousness, I regained my sight.. and I saw Drakulo over me.

Im sorry to hear that. Arianna felt sad to hear Fina's story.

Fina continued her story. During my delivery, I can see Karina's heart. It's impured. I pleaded to one of Heros soldier to spare my daughter and give me a chance to make her become pure. That soldier agreed to bring Karina to Purity but he gave me 2 conditions. One is I should do everything to make Karina's heart become pure and 2nd is to marry him. Yes that soldier became my husband and he gave me my little angel, Clara. My husband died when Drakulo conquered Marivellos. I raised my 2 daughters alone. I taught Karina to become responsible, caring and a loving daughter and sister. As she grew, her impured heart became pure. Until her last breath... she gave her life to me.. she sacrificed herself just to save me. Fina did not noticed that her tears are already falling.

Achilles and Clara sneaked out from the underground tunnel while the soldiers are asleep.

Where are we heading Achilles? Clara asked.

I need to get our weapons. We left it and hide it in the forest near the river. Maybe we can use the weapons to track Arianna and your family. Achilles explained.

Achilles and Clara went to the forest to get the weapons. Achilles then pulled out the Sword of Light to see if Clara is a chosen warrior. The Sword of Light did not worked. Achilles tried to use the Shield of Hope and tested it.

Can you show us where Arianna is? The Shield of Hope suddenly showed Arianna and Fina inside the dungeon.

Clara saw it and shouted thats's my mom!!!

Achilles grabbed Clara's hand, pointed the Sword of Light upward and said Lets save them.

The Sword of Light quickly brought them inside the dungeon where Arianna and Fina was locked up. Fina was surprised to see her daughter.

Clara???

Mom??? They both run to hug each other.

Arianna thank Achilles with a shake hand.

Thank you Achilles.

Achilles replied, Only a hand? I also deserve a hug for saving you! Achilles mumbled.

Arianna replied, you wish!

Meanwhile, a man was walking in the riverbank and saw a body of a woman floating in the river. He went towards the body and plunge to the river to get it.

The man said.

I am here.
