Dear Dorothy,
We haven't seen or written to each other since my birthday. Did you enjoy it? How are you doing? I had a great time and wanted to thank you for coming! Will we meet soon again? I've heard that you and John had some issues. I hope things will get better for you two.
Write to me as soon as you can!
Love,
Lotte

Dear Dorothy,
I cannot put into words how happy I am! My Hans is the most kind and the best man on Earth! Oh, Dorothy, how much I love him! I cannot believe I ever doubted him and his feelings, let alone having the thoughts of leaving him. How foolish was I to think that I have feelings for another man! I am also very glad that everything went back to normal with you and John. We really are two lucky women!
Love,
Lotte
