Dear Dorothy,
As it turns out, William really never had feelings for me. I overheard a conversation he's had with Marlene, stating that he's going to spend Silvester's in Spain. With another woman. A woman he met two weeks ago. I've never felt such heartache, yet who am I to say anything. He's a free man and has the right to do so. It just hurts me that we've known each other for a year now and he didn't want to spend the Silvester's with me, or all of us. If anything we're his friends.
However I'm glad that John, Marlene and you will be celebrating Silvester's with me.
Love,
Lotte
