Dear William,
I left the town and decided to travel for a while. I thought it would be better for me if I left the country and discovered different countries and their people I would be able to get you out of my head. But that didn't really work for me - I think about you very often, actually. I see people that look a lot like you and then I fall into this hole filled with thoughts about everything that had happened last few months.
I often think about what it would be like if you were here with me, enjoying the sunrise and the sunset on this beach I am currently at, reminiscing about you. I then start to think about all the things we would be able to do here, since everything that happens abroad, stays abroad. We would have a secret that only the two of us would know about, and that we would secretly talk about with every prolonged eye contact and would remember each time we would look at each other.
I still don't know if this letter will reach you or not, but I'll keep sending the letters anyway.
Love,
Lotte
