"Yo." I call to Smiley as I walk over to him.

I sit down on the patio chair across from him as he rolls a blunt.
"Wah talk tuh yuh bout sumn serious." I state while bouncing my leg. My eyes glimpse Khadijah as she floats around the pool on a floaty while talking and laughing with Nova.

Smiley's eyes follow mine, turning around to look at his sister. He smirks and shakes his head before sparking his blunt.
"Yuh know bout Asher." He says, putting emphasis on the name.

"Mi nah leggo KK again." I replied, my eyes drifting off to her watching her laugh at whatever Nova was saying.
I wanted to talk to her earlier but when I approached her she turned away from me. I went to follow her but decided against it. She deserves her space.

Me and Smiley look at each other and shake our heads as I pass the blunt back to him.
