Grim folded his arms defiantly. "Takin' care of yer ghost problem, that's what. You're welcome, by the way!" he declared, though there was a slight tremor in his voice.

Crowley raised an eyebrow and turned to Y/N, who was glaring at him. "What is the meaning of this,   Y/N  ?"

Before Y/N could respond, Crowley continued, "But you know, on that topic, I do seem to recall that this dorm had a mischievous ghost problem. Ah, yes... That's why it was abandoned, in fact. The ghosts scared away all the students. And you're saying that you two joined forces to drive them away?"

Grim scoffed, " 'Joined forces' ain't exactly how I'd describe it. More like I drove 'em away, and the human watched. And I only did it 'cause I wanted some tuna. Hey... Wait a minute! I never got those cans of tuna ya promised!"

Crowley looked amused, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "Would you two be so kind as to demonstrate your ghost-eradication methods for me?"

Grim narrowed his eyes, suspicion creeping in. "One, no, 'cause I already wiped 'em all out. And two, no, 'cause where's my tuna?!"

Crowley’s eyes gleamed with mischief. "I will play the part of the ghosts. As for the tuna, you'll receive it when you defeat me. Oh, what generosity, Crowley... Now, to chug this transmutation potion!" He pulled out a vial of glowing liquid, ready to drink it.

Grim groaned, his shoulders slumping. "Ah, you gotta be kiddin' me. I gotta work together with the human again?"

Y/N, still longing for a place to sleep, saw an opportunity. "This could be your chance to enroll," they suggested.

Grim considered this, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "Hrmph," he finally grunted. "All right, but this is the last time. And I better be up to my jowls in tuna afterwards!"

Crowley smirked, ready to put the pair to the test. "Let's see what you two are made of, then!" He downed the potion, and in an instant, his form began to shift, taking on a ghostly appearance. The challenge was on, and Grim and Y/N would need to work together once more to prove their worth—and hopefully, earn a good night's sleep.

Grim was panting, clearly exhausted from the battle. "Pant... Pant... Well?" he asked, looking expectantly at Crowley.

Crowley adjusted his spectacles, a look of astonishment on his face. "Incredible... I've never seen anyone bend a monster to their will quite the way you have." He looked at Y/N, his expression a mix of curiosity and admiration. "I must confess, my educator's intuition did sense something about you after the brouhaha at orientation,   Y/N  . I could tell you had a certain animal trainer-y, beast master-ish quality to you. Oh, yes." He paused, as if weighing his next words carefully. "That said, I... *mumble mumble*"

Y/N, seizing the opportunity, spoke up. "Would it be possible for Grim to stay with me?" they asked, knowing full well what the response might be.

Crowley's eyes widened in shock. "WHAT? A monster, stay HERE?"

Grim blinked, surprised. "Whoa, did you just...?"

Y/N glared at Crowley, their exhaustion making them less patient. "You haven't gotten me a bed or gotten me home, so you owe me," they demanded.
