As we all made our way to the pit, i couldn't help but watch Rose as she laughed with the group. Her and Sam were roasting each other, making one another giggle. I took this opportunity to focus on just her. Her eyes were a sparkling emerald green, full of life and laughter. Her nose scrunched when Corey and Jake started acting like idiots, her porcelain hand covering her mouth. Her lips were full, coloured a deep red and looked like they'd be as soft as silk. There were freckles littering her cheeks and nose, making her red hair stand out more than it already did. It was tied up in a loose bun which bounced with each step she took with stray curls hanging down the back of her neck and framing her face perfectly. She was wearing some black, mesh leggings underneath her black ripped shorts. These were paired with a crop top, showing a few inches of her stomach with the word 'angel' sprawled across the chest in cursive. She was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't stop stealing glances at her every now and then.

I was brought back to reality when a loud scream bounced off the walls in the hall. All of us looked at one another with fear very obvious on our faces.
"Think this is the perfect time for the Estes Method, don't you think?" Sam looked at me with a grin. I smirked and glanced at Rose again. Her head was slightly tilted in confusion as she looked around the dark corridor.
"I think so. Shall we let one of them try it?" I asked, nodding towards Emelie, Xavier and Rose.
"I'd love to try it." Rose turned to Sam, a small smile on her face. "I've researched this method for years, but I've never had the chance to try it for real." Sam had a small smile as he watched her fiddle with a piece of string that was hanging from her shorts due to being nervous.
"Of course." He walked up to her and handed her the noise cancelling headphones. He then held up the red blindfold and nodded at her. She gave a small nod back and Sam proceeded to put the blindfold over her eyes and tie it behind her head.
"You ready?" He asked. She nodded again, her bottom lip being caught by her teeth. I actually almost groaned out loud at the sight, but managed to keep quiet. Sam helped her put the headphones on and then stepped back, looking at me.

"Is there anyone here with us? A doctor, a patient?" I asked, keeping my gaze fixed on Rose.
"Here." She spoke. "Leave." The five letter word had chills running down my spine, making me physically shiver.
"Can you tell us who you are?" Xavier spoke up, which shocked all of us. He'd been quiet this whole time. Maybe he was just processing.
"He's coming." Rose whispered. "Now there's just a bunch of laughter." Sam and I shared a look, my eyebrow raised slightly.
"Who's coming? What's going to happen to us?" I asked the darkness, subconsciously playing with the cross that was around my neck.
"Devil. Murder." Rose started to spit out a lot of words, taking all of us by surprise. "Holy. Bible. Evil. Death. Rose." I watched as goosebumps appeared on her arms, her mouth gaped open slightly.
"What do you want with Rose?" Emelie asked with a shaky voice. I think she had to know. We all had to know. She could be in danger.
"Home. Soul." Rose said.
"You can't have her soul. You do not have permission to touch any of us. We have God on our side!" I raised my voice and made sure to sound demanding so the spirit would not try to challenge me.
"Silly boy. I do what I want." Rose hissed, but it wasn't her voice. Her voice sounded croaky and raspy, as if she'd been an active smoker for the last fifty years.
"We've got to get her out!" Xavier yelled as wind whipped around the room out of nowhere.

But as soon as Sam lunged forward to touch Rose, she was yanked back into the darkness, away from us. We all heard a loud thud and a scream.

Rose's scream.
