IT HAS BEEN A FEW WEEKS since Ada Holt joined Mayhem. She met with them three nights a week to rehearse and discuss future plans for the band and new songs that would be released. Though it hadn't been long since she joined, she already felt like she belonged. Jørn and Jan, who she grew to know as Necrobutcher and Hellhammer welcomed her with open arms. She dared say they were her friends. Despite her initial nervousness, she found herself drawn to the band's dark aura and the twisted things they do. Especially Euronymous.
Ada had been practising relentlessly day and night to learn all their songs, but nothing would prepare her for the first live show they'd play that day.

The Henhouse was buzzing with energy. Ada was sitting on the couch strumming her guitar, Øystein, ever the mastermind was pacing back and forth with his guitar strapped to his body. Pelle was somewhere outside doing god knows what, while Jan and Jørn were returning back to the Henhouse from the butcher. Apparently, Øystein wanted there to be pig heads on spikes on stage, so the pair drove to the butcher shop to buy a few. Ada didn't think it was weird, she just assumed they were presenting themselves as this super evil satanic band and it was all for show. Which she was all for.
The car was heard outside so everyone got out of the house to see what Hellhammer and Necrobutcher bought.
Two massive pig heads were sitting in the passenger seat, they were fresh and covered in blood. The sight didn't make her gag, thankfully, since she had a strong stomach.
The boys started loading the heads into the Mayhem's yellow van to later be transported to their venue.
Then out of nowhere Pelle appeared with a shovel and began digging the dirt beside the house. Ada looked at him with pure confusion but decided that it was another one of his antics she should ignore. Ada learned that Pelle was severely depressed and suicidal, so she tried her best to help him when he was in one of those moods. Currently, she wasn't sure what mood he was in so she just watched as he continued to dig. She turned around to see if the other guys needed help when she walked right into Øystein. He stood firm like a statue, only smirking as if he purposely stood there to make her bump into him.
"Sorry" Ada apologised, taking a step back to give them both some personal space but he grinned like an idiot.
Looking over at Pelle, Øystein was equally as confused, especially when Pelle took out clothes from a hole he just dug and began shaking the dirt from them.
"What the fuck is that?" Necrobutcher asked with a concerned expression plastered on his face.
Pelle just smiled, "It's my stage clothes." He looked very proud of what he did.
Hellhammer then yelled to everyone, "Alrighty, everything ready to go." He closed the trunk of the car field with equipment, pig heads and more.
The five of them sat in the van and drove to the venue.

"Don't smile it'll fuck up the makeup," Pelle told Ada as he added finishing touches to her new corpse paint. She looked in the mirror behind her and saw how crazy she looked. Her usual wavy hair was pin-straight and her face looked like something out of a horror movie - it was beautiful. It was similar to what she wore to the Henhouse party but it had more lines coming down the face and she had an upside-down cross on her forehead.
She would've looked like Pelle's twin, if not for the slightly different make-up. Maybe she should dye her hair? Or–
She was interrupted by Pelle, "You're done." he said and stood up.
Ada looked around at her other band members and saw that only Euronymous, Dead and herself were wearing corpse paint. "Ya'll are missing out on the make-up experience." She told Hellhamer and Necrobutcher, with the latter responding, "It's just not my thing." To which Ada simply nodded.
