ADA WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING with her arms tangled around Øystein's. Her neck was sore from sleeping in an uncomfortable position, so she sat up, gently moving her arms from under his torso and stretched.

"Morning." the boy said in a raspy morning voice, to which Ada hummed and kissed his cheek..

The adrenaline had worn off fully by now, so she was left exhausted, considering she slept for maybe 4 hours. She hoped to stay down here with Øystein, cuddling for a few hours but she knew she wasn't the type to do that nor did he have the time since he was busy managing the store and record label.

Øystein grabbed her chin and pulled her in for another kiss when Faust appeared downstairs. He looked apologetic, finding the couple lying on the couch,

"Sorry for interrupting, but there's a phone call for you." He told Ada, who tilted her head in confusion. She had no clue who could be calling since she hadn't really spoken to anyone other than the Black Circle for the past few months. Reluctantly, she left Øystein's side, but not before giving him a warm smile, and went upstairs. She took the phone into her hand and answered,

"Hello?"

"Ada, so happy to hear your voice!" The familiar voice of Elin rang out from the other end.

"Elin! I've missed you." The girl spoke, her mood suddenly improving by a lot. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Øystein staring at him.

"Look, I've got back from my trip to Sweden and I've been looking forward to seeing you. What do you say, meet me at our house today to spend some time together?"

Ada's eyes widened at the proposition. After all, she hadn't talked to her sister in months, and she missed her dearly.

She looked over at Øystein, asking silently asking for permission. The boy just nodded in response, his hands crossed over his chest.

"I'll see you there!" She told her sister over the phone and hung up.

"So you'll be gone all day I'm assuming?" Øystein asked her, looking slightly unimpressed by her choice of leisure for the day.

"I know, I know. But it's my sister, I want to spend some time with her too." She smiled apologetically, going in for a hug.

His arms snaked around her waist and pulled her in close. "Who am I to say no to you." He hugged her back, kissing the top of her head.

Quickly walking over to her bunk behind the counter, Ada took her bag. After giving Øystein a quick goodbye and promising to see him the next morning, the girl made her way to meet her sister.

That evening, Ada and her sister sat in their living room, catching up. Elin spoke excitedly about her recent vacation to Sweden, while Ada remained quiet, and intently listened to her adventures.

"... And after that, I just went home and slept for an entire day, can you believe it?!" Elin finished her rant, throwing her hands in the air. Ada nodded, "Sounds like you had an absolute blast, Els, I'm incredibly happy for you!" She spoke happily, patting her sister on the shoulder.

Elin looked at Ada for a few moments, her gaze – undecipherable."Also, I heard about the church burnings... Was Mayhem connected to them in any way?" Elin's tone suddenly darkened, her voice quieter and deeper.

Ada hesitated for a moment before responding to Elin's darkened tone. She could feel the weight of her sister's question pressing on her, but she wasn't ready to lie.

"We were," Ada admitted grimly, avoiding Elin's eyes. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, but no guilt was present in her mind. Strangely, Ada was proud of what they've done.
