On my way out the building, I heard someone calling my name. I turned around and saw Austin running up to me.
"Hey Bella. What's up?," he asked. I didn't know what to say to him.
"Hey Austin. Um listen. Do you know the new guy named Ryan?," I asked shyly.
"Yeah. He seems pretty cool", he replied.
"Yeah um about him. We need to talk. I'm breaking up with you," I said. Wait. Why did I just say that?
"Good. Because that's what I came to tell you. I'm officially dating Madison now. I get that you two are enemies and all but she's prettier than you are," Austin said. Then he walked aqua to meet Madison at her car. Okay, wow. That just happened. Everyone stared at me and started to whisper to each other.
"What are you looking at!?," I yelled storming off to Ashlin's car. Once I was in and buckled up, I lost it and bursted into tears.
"Bella. What happened?,".
"Austin dumped me", I replied sobbing. She pulled me into a hug and cried with me." I have no idea why he would dump me to go be with Madison Clens anyway. I mean, sure she's captain of the volleyball team but I'm captain of the cheer squad. I'm also smart, funny, pretty and popular. That she devil will pay for what she has done to our relationship".
"Well, I have to get home," Ashlin said. I pulled my mirror out of my purse and my mascara was really messed up. I went ahead and fixed it and dabbed my eyes with a kleenex I found in the bottom of my purse. I was home in ten minutes and quickly got out the car and ran up the porch steps. I rushed to my room without telling my mother why. I threw my bag on the floor and literally jumped on my bed and cried again. I pulled my phone out my back pocket and played Miss Movin On by Fifth Harmony and blasted the song through my ear buds. When the song ended, I heard a soft knock at my door.
"Come in," I sobbed. My mom opened the door softly and left it cracked a little bit. She sat on my bed next to me while I laid down with my face buried in pillows.
"Honey. What happened?",my mother asked.
"Austin dumped me," I replied.
"Oh honey. I know it hurts". She gave me a hug and gave me a kiss on my forehead. "I'm about to go make dinner. Do you want anything special?".
"Tacos. No tomatoes please", I replied. As soon as she left and closed the door, I went back to my misery.
