I felt a burning pain in my whole body. It felt like I was on fire. I tried lifting a finger and it dropped cause of the pain. My whole body felt tense then loosened up a little bit. I opened my eyes and I saw everything more clearly. The dust floating in the air, the sewing pattern on the comforter. Everything was super clear. I looked around the room and no one was in there. I sat up and stepped off the bed. I looked in the mirror and I looked like myself. Except, my body was really hard. I walked out the room and into the living room where I saw Ryan sitting on the couch.
"Ryan", I whispered. He turned to look at me and walked over to me.
"Bella", he whispered back. He gave me a hug. "I never thought I'd see you again".
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"You were passed out for nine days. Most people take two or three", he replied.
"Oh I almost forgot. The keys to the jeep please".
"Mm. Not now. You need to eat first before you do anything". He went and got a styrofoam cup and placed it in my hands. I looked inside. A red liquid was inside and it was really thin. I put my mouth towards the cup and started drinking the liquid. It wasn't good or bad. It soothed the hunger that began a minute ago. I put the cup down on the table and looked at Ryan. He pulled me towards him.
"Now we can spend forever together", I said. I pressed my lips on his and he played with my hair. He pulled away at the sound of the door bell ringing. I followed him downstairs and saw a lady at the door wearing a long red gown. Her hair was pinned up in a neat bun and no hair was out of place.
"Hello Ryan, Bella", the woman said.
"Hello Janelle", Ryan said. "Please, come in". Okay. So her name is Janelle but why is she here?
"Bella. I'm so glad to finally meet you", Janelle said.
"Same here", I said taking a seat at the table.
"Well, lets get started", she began. She pulled out some papers and set them on the table." Okay. These paper just state that Ryan was the one who changed you. Your transformation process took nine days to complete, you have graduated high school, and you have not told anyone that vampires exist", Janelle explained. She handed me the papers and pointed where I needed to sign. I handed her the papers and she stood up.
"Okay. That is all. Good day to both of you", Janelle said. We walked her out and I gave Ryan a look.
"Okay. I forgot to tell you that the council also comes over to put the newest vampires in the records", Ryan explained.
"Okay. Now can we got out?", I asked. Okay, I begged.
"Sure", he replied. He took my hand and led me outside to the car. I got in the car and we drove while the sunset. Today, my new life began.
