Aegon's Pov,
As fingers trace patterns over my chest, I turn to lock eyes with Rhyla, her gaze already lingering on me. "Do you ever miss it?" she asks. Shifting onto my side, my hand seeks out her hip, fingers dancing lightly over her skin.
"Do I miss the times when you didn't give me a headache? Absolutely," I reply with a playful smirk, prompting an eye roll from her. "But all jokes aside, those headaches led to our daughter... so, in a way, they were part of the best thing that's ever happened to me."
"I know but I mean King's Landing...... your father and sister? Westeros." She asks me with seriousness in her tone. "I'm happy here with you, Dany and my mother. One day I will go back, and you all will come with me."
"Ow yes because the court would wish for your ba-"
"She's not a bastard." I'm quick to cut her off with some anger in my tone, feeling Rhyla lay her hand on my cheek her thumb brushes over my skin. "We've been doing this for quite some years now Aegon, I love you and you love me.......... but that does not take away from the fact that we are not wed, and will never be. " She softly says as her finger keeps moving over my skin.
"And you say you do not wish to wed me after I've satisfied all your needs?"
"I say that because I know you Aegon, maybe not all of your past..... maybe not all of your future but I do know that if you wised to wed you would have asked me many years ago." She says and I release a sigh. "I do love you."
"I know. And I love you, and it's a good thing you're so handsome otherwise I would have traded you in years ago." She teasingly says and I release a hum before rolling around and moving to hover over her.
"To be fair I would say it's a good thing I've grown quite fond of you these last years otherwise I would have fed you to Caraxes." I softly say before leaning down and placing my lips against hers while she wraps one arm around my neck and the other moves down between our bodies.
This is going to be a long night.
The Next Morning,
Walking out of the farm I stretch my body out with a content sigh before I cross my arms over my chest by the girl who's trying to sneak back in this direction. "No Drogon you got to st-"
"How many times did I tell you to not go out alone at night........ do you know of what lays in these woods?" I cut her off and her body tenses up as she soon slyly looks over her shoulder. "B-but we just wanted to fly....... and no one saw us!" She's quick to defend herself.
"It's dangerous out there Dany, what if somebody saw y-"
"You always say that, but you never explain why it's dangerous! Why can't we just go out and fly?" Her anger cuts through, and as I sigh and attempt to approach her, she retreats from me. "Dany, I'll explain when you're older."
"You always say that... you never follow through." With that, she runs back to Drogon. "Daenerys... Daenerys! Come back here!" My voice starts softly but grows louder as she mounts the dragon, which begins to flap its wings. "Soves, Drogon!" And with that the two take flight.
"Daenerys!" I call out again, but they're already soaring away, while Mom and Rhyla emerge from the farm. "What's happening?"
"Our daughter took off," I reply, whistling sharply, summoning Caraxes from the trees towards me. "You can't fly out in broad daylight, Aegon. What if you're seen?"
