Vox's Pawn's Pov

I left the Vee Tower, Vox's words echoing in my mind.

"Use your knowledge to our advantage. Find out how Alafia unlocks Alastor's true potential."

But I knew the truth, my loyalty belonged to Alastor. He owned my soul, a secret Vox couldn't uncover.

My phone buzzed, a text from Husker.

"Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight. Come alone." Curiosity piqued, I agreed.

Husker's Pov

I watched as Vox's Pawn approached the warehouse, their eyes scanning the area. Little did they know, I was aware of their true allegiance - to Alastor.

"Vox's Pawn," I said, testing their reaction.

They nodded, cautious, their gaze darting around the dimly lit space.

"I know your secret," I revealed, observing their surprise. "Alastor owns your soul."

Their eyes widened, confirming my suspicion. I continued, "You're playing a dangerous game, serving two masters."

Vox's Pawn took a deep breath, their expression resolute. "I have no choice. Alastor's bond is unbreakable."

I nodded understandingly. "Join forces with me. Together, we'll bring down Vox and protect Alastor."

Vox's Pawn hesitated, weighing options. Their loyalty to Alastor was clear, but the risks were high.

"What's your plan?" they asked, intrigued.

I outlined our strategy, "Alastor's powers grow stronger. With your insight and my knowledge, we'll uncover Vox's weaknesses. We'll gather allies, exploit his vulnerabilities, and strike when he least expects it."

Vox's Pawn nodded, determination in their eyes.

"Let's do it."

Together, we forged an alliance, bound by our loyalty to Alastor and our desire to topple Vox. The game of deception had begun, with secrets and lies entwining us.

But in this web of deceit, who else held secrets? And how far would we go to protect Alastor?
