The next day at two in the afternoon, Adam decided to take Hershey for a ride down to the lake. "I'm going to go riding down to the lake with Hershey. I'll be back in half an hour." "Okay! Have fun!", his parents replied. On his way there, he saw Jake watering his garden in the front yard.

"Hey, how are you?," Adam asked.

"I'm great! Where are you riding?," he asked.

"I'm riding down to the lake. Do you want to join me?"

"Yeah, let me tell Rachel first." Jake went to the stables and told her. "Okay, I want to come," she said. "I'll ask him," he replied. "Can she come, too?," Jake asked. "Yeah, sure!"

They rode down to the lake and sat down on the bench under the tree. Adam told them about how he wanted to perform with her in a show without his backup dancers. They were happy for him, because he had made the right decision for his career. "You will have so much more fun performing with her!," Jake said.

"Yeah, I know! I am excited to perform with her!," he exclaimed.

They spent the next half an hour talking about how his life would change after he performed the show. "The reporters for the newspaper will probably want to interview both of you. You'll get a lot more publicity, too," Rachel said.

"Yeah, how cool would that be?", Jake said, clapping him firmly on the back. "You will be much more famous than you are now!"

"Yeah, and the performance will show my fans how talented she is. I know they will be happy to see how much I care about her, " Adam replied. Enjoying the fresh air, they sat there in silence, listening to the delightful chirping of the small birds in the trees around them. "It's nice to be outside in nature," Adam said. "Yeah, it is," they replied.

In the meantime, Emily was in her room writing her song about him. The melody sounded very happy, and after finishing another verse, she sang it. Her parents heard from downstairs, and she sounded like an angel. Her voice was loud and clear. They went upstairs and asked her what the song was about.

"It's about my feelings for Adam." She decided to tell them about the time they were spending alone. "We have been riding down to the vineyard on his horse every evening at five before dinner. He has told me that he helps his dad make wine from the grapes grown on the vine. He is very kind and caring," she said.

"That's wonderful!," her mom said. "I'm proud of you for writing a song about him. I know that you want to become a famous square dancer and perform on stage with him. Performing with him will be good for you," her mom replied.

"I know! Lucy has told me that his manager is letting him decide how to perform the show, and Adam wants to perform without his backup dancers." Her mom nodded. "You'll be just like me when I was your age performing with your dad." Emily hugged both of them and they left her room.

She finished writing the second verse and put her songbook back in her drawer. Adam was in his room playing a tune on his guitar, singing about how beautiful she was. He got out his songbook and wrote down the lyrics. Writing songs always made him happy. His parents heard him and smiled at each other, they loved hearing his voice.

Emily walked down to the dance studio to practice a routine that she had made up by herself. Victoria and Lucy were talking about Adams' show. They were excited for Emily to perform with him in it. After practicing for half an hour, they clapped for her. "That was perfect! You're an amazing dancer," she exclaimed, hugging her. She left the studio and went home.

Adam was in the stables talking to his dad about Emily. "She makes me so happy. I want to spend the rest of my life with her." He told him about how he met his mom. "You know, I felt the same way about your mom when I was your age. We were famous singers, and loved to perform on stage together."
