I walked out the door towards Taylor

I walked out the door towards Taylor. "What do you think of the place?" He asked. I was surrounded by cabins. The cabins were arranged in an Ω shape, 22 in total.

"Yeah... so, we're not going to talk about these cabibs?" I asked.

"Oh yes," he replied.

"Each cabibs represents a god. Each cabins had children of a different Greek god. Originally, there were only 12 cabins, only for the Olympian gods. But 20 years ago, someone named Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, made an agreement with the gods to add cabins for the minor gods as well. For example, Lia's father Hypnos. Couple years later, Hestia and Persephone also wanted cabibs for their children, so there are now a total of 22 cabins."

I didn't understand everything, but I just nodded. Wait. "So, what specific gods are we talking about?"

"Oh yes," Taylor continued.

"Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, and Dionysus-my father" he chuckled.

"Then there's Hades, Iris, Hypnos, Nemesis, Nike, Hebe, Tyche, Hecate, Hestia, and Persephone."

Wait a second, Hermes!

"Hermes! Hermes is the one who claimed me."

"That means he's your father. Remind me of your name?"

"Alex Wilde."

"I hope you don't have a problem sharing a room with 17 kids."

"17 children?! Does that mean I have 17 siblings?!"

"No, no, something special about the Hermes cabin is that children who have not been claimed also sleep there."

I started to miss my mom. "Do you have a phone? I want to call my mom."

"Ah, sorry, no phones are allowed here. It just broadcasts to all the monsters, 'Hey, there are demigods here to kill!'"

I started to look very sad. I really miss my roof, and I really miss my mother.

"Hey, it's okay. Come on, the grass here is really comfortable," Taylor said as he lay down on the grass. I did the same.

"Remind me, who is your father?"

"Dionysus, god of wine and vines."

"the vines, you say? Create a vine and pick that apple over there," I said, pointing to the tree above us, specifically at a red apple.

Suddenly, one of the coolest things happened. A small vine came up from the ground, climbed the tree, and stabbed the stem of the apple, causing it to fall right onto my face. "Ouch," I said, and he laughed. Is there a chance I'll really meet friends for the first time?

I closed my eyes until a large shadow blocked the sun from my face.

"Alex," a voice called.

I opened my eyes and saw Chiron standing in front of me.
