A week had passed since that night, and things had fallen back into a familiar routine.
The dynamic between Helia and Toji went back to normal, a mixture of playful banter, stolen glances, and quiet moments where they were reminded of the always growing affection that remained between them.
In agreement with Toji, Helia had decided to continue making a false report to Naobito every night. And eventually report to Toji the things his father said about him.
She felt good now that things had worked out with Toji. She felt lighter and less stressed. And above all, she felt happy and loved.
However, she still finds herself struggling with doubts about Toji's plan to eliminate everyone in the clan.
Though she had witnessed his ruthlessness and determination, there was a part of her that wondered if he would truly go through with it.
And whenever she brought up the topic, he would immediately close up and change the subject, refusing to engage in any further discussion about it.
Despite the tenderness and kindness Toji has shown her, Helia is aware that he possesses a ruthless and cold side when it comes to dealing with others within the clan.
She recognizes that underestimating him could be a dangerous mistake.
And given the extent of his grievances and the depths of his hatred for the clan, it seemed unlikely that he would back down from his intentions.
She was afraid that he would actually do it. Because it would mean that he was going to kill innocent people too. Maybe if they talked about it, he would change his mind or make some compromises.
Resolute in her decision, she decides that today would be the day she confronts Toji and delves deeper into the subject he has been avoiding. She resolves not to let him change the subject this time.

As the day progresses, Helia continues with her tasks, cleaning a very spacious room alongside with other maids.
She suddenly notices Toji approaching from upstairs. His usual cold and distant expression is in place, and his demeanor exudes an air of indifference.
Despite the familiar sight, she knows that beneath that stoic exterior lies a myriad of complexities and secrets that he guards fiercely.
As Toji's eyes land on her, a subtle transformation occurs. His icy demeanor softens momentarily, and a small, almost imperceptible smile graces his lips.
He slowly makes his way towards her, his footsteps echoing quietly against the floor. As he approaches, he too is mindful of maintaining appearances, not wanting to draw undue attention to the interaction.
He reaches her side quietly. His eyes remain fixed on her as he speaks, his voice a soft, low murmur, meant for her ears only.
"Hello Helia."
Her gaze flickering around briefly to ensure they aren't being observed, before she answers on the same tone.
"Hey Toji."
His eyes are still surveying the area around them, making sure no one is within earshot of their conversation.
His gaze becomes slightly more serious as he speaks, his voice a quiet, focused whisper.
"I need to tell you something important. But not here. Come to my room tonight after everyone else is asleep."
Helia is surprised, she doesn't know if she should be happy or scared. Was he going to announce her something good or something bad?
