The next day Hannah and Hawk had gotten up the next morning and met each other on the same floor.

"Good morning, Beautiful." He treated Hannah.

Hannah looked to see if his parents were around before kissing him. He kissed her back, filled with passion. "Breakfast?"

"Always."

The two walked into the kitchen and Hannah looked through the doorway to see Mr and Mrs Moskowitz sitting with Shan. Hannah's face fell.

"What's wrong?" Hawk asked her. "Mom, Dad, who is this?"

"Mom?" Hannah questioned.

"Hey, baby." Shan greeted her. Hannah walked into the living room, closer to them.

"We'll leave you guys to talk." Mr Moskowitz said as the two adults walked into the kitchen with Hawk.

Hannah sat down beside her Mom. "Boy, have you changed a lot." Shan said to Hannah.

"Yeah." Hannah said. Hannah was upset at her mom for leaving, but she knew that it was the drugs and alcohol that made her leave.

"Hannah, I'm sorry. Cabo wasn't one of my brightest ideas. It was a mistake."

Hannah sighed. "I know, but we all make them. And we to move forward."

"I know. I, uh, I know that I haven't been there for you and Robby and I..." Shan couldn't find the words.

"It's okay, Mom." Hannah said. "I know what you mean."

"God, it's been hard for me. I wanna make things right. But um... I have to leave again." Shan told Hannah.

Hannah quickly turned her head, facing her mom. "What?"

"I'm going to rehab, sweetie. I need help. And it's taken me a really long time to realize that. But I... I... The drinking. The pills. I- I have to change. I want to, for you."

"Wow." Hannah said in awe. She couldn't believe what her mother had just said. She started to tear up. "Mom, that's amazing."

"Mr and Mrs Moskowitz said that you're welcome to stay with them, you know, until I'm done with my program" Shan sniffled. "You can also stay with your father," Hannah nodded. "but Mr and Mrs Moskowitz said that they would enroll you at West Valley High. You can get the education you need." Shan had looked around the living room, and through the window to the kitchen. "Where's Robby?"

"He's staying at the LaRussos. He and I have gotten into a lot of fights and it was best if he and I just parted ways." Hannah told her mother.

"Hannah, what have I told you two for years?" Shan asked.

"Twins stick together." The two said in unison.

"Yeah, Mom, I know but you don't understand. We just- He hasn't been himself."

"Listen, I know what I have done affects you and all, but after all of this, neither of you will be yourselves. You and Robby will figure out your issues, and I'll figure out mine." Shan said to Hannah. She cupped Hannah's face. "It will all work out in the end and bring us together. I promise." Shan stood up. "Okay. I'm going to head over to the LaRusso's and see if I can find Robby."

Hannah stood up as well as Shan wrapped her arms around Hannah and pulled her into a hug. Hannah was surprised by this action. She wrapped her arms around her mom and stayed in the position for a while. Hannah's eyes started to water even more. Shan pulled away and cupped Hannah's face and placed her lips on her forehead. "I love you, Kiddo."

"I love you too, Mom." Hannah said, trying not to cry.

Shan had left and Hannah walked back into the kitchen. Hannah was still on the verge of tears but they were happy tears. She was proud of her mom for wanting to get help. Hannah chuckled lightly to herself causing tears to fall down her face.
