Hannah was riding in the car with Johnny and Daniel. Johnny of course was passed out in the back seat as Daniel was driving.
Hannah took a sip of her drink and heard movement from the back seat. She turned around and saw her dad awake. “Well look who's awake.” She said.
“Hey.” Daniel said. “Got you a juice.” He held up a green juice. The same one Hannah was drinking. “Advil is in the glove compartment.”
“Looks like sewage.” Johnny said as he looked at the drink.
“Suck it up.” Daniel told him. “If we find Robby, you might wanna be awake.”
“Well, drive faster then. Feel like I'm in a rocking chair.”
Hannah looked in the glove compartment and grabbed the Advil. “Here.” She said, handing it to her dad. “Don't OD back there.”
Johnny took some Advil and handed it back to Hannah. He reached up and clicked the Auto button and turned on the radio and turned up the volume as it played 80’s rock. Hannah put the Advil back in the glove compartment.
Daniel looked at Johnny and turned off the music. “Knock it off. We're on a mission.”
“What are you supposed to do, drive all day looking for a van?” Johnny asked.
“No,” Daniel answered, “but hopefully our mutual friend can point us in the right direction.”
“What the…” Johnny said as he looked out the window and saw a facility where people were doing yoga and such.
The three got out of the car and began to walk in. “So this is where Mom is?” Hannah asked. “I'm glad she's getting the care she needs.”
“This is what rehab’s like?” Johnny asked.
“This is one of the best facilities in the country.”
They walked into the building and two ladies walked past them. Johnny smiled. “Hey.” He greeted.
Hannah instantly slapped him and gave him a look. “No!”
“Focus, will ya?” Daniel said. “We're here on business, not pleasure.”
“Welcome to Malibu Canyon Recovery.” A worker said to the three. “You're doing a very brave thing.” She said to Johnny.
“What?” He asked. “No, I'm not checking in.”
Hannah chuckled. “Not yet, you ain't.”
“I'm no quitter.” Johnny said to the woman.
“I understand.” The girl said. “It can be hard at first.” She looked over at Daniel and Hannah. “Don't worry, he'll get used to it.”
Daniel chuckled. “I'm sure he will.”
“Yeah, laugh it up, LaRusso.” Johnny said. Hannah started to laugh more. “You too, Hannah.”
Daniel turned around and looked at Hannah. “You wait here, okay?”
“Are we surprising Mom?” She asked.
“Yeah.” Daniel and Johnny walked around the corner and over to Shannon. “Shannon.” Daniel said, grabbing her attention.
She stood up and looked at Daniel. “Hi!” She hugged Daniel. “It's so good to see you.”
“You too.” Daniel said.
“Oh, please tell Amanda I said thanks. That lavender essential oil she sent really did help with my insomnia.”
