A few days later, the group was hanging out in Sye's room, which had become their unofficial relaxation spot. The atmosphere was relaxed, with everyone chatting and unwinding after a series of successful operations. Liza was fiddling with some new tech gadgets, Che was watching a video on her tablet, and Naz was cracking jokes as usual. Irr was lost in a book.
Nin, however, was noticeably quiet, her mind preoccupied. Finally, she decided it was time to bring up the issue that had been weighing on her. She cleared her throat, catching everyone's attention.
"Hey, I need to talk to you guys about something," Nin said, her tone serious. "Remember when Liza mentioned Vincent Moretti's daughter, Erin?"
The room fell silent as the group looked at Nin, their curiosity peaked.
"Yeah, what about her?" Sye asked, her chaotic energy momentarily subdued.
Nin took a deep breath. "A few days ago, I bumped into someone named Erin. We've had a couple of conversations, and I've even had coffee with her. She seemed pretty normal, but now I'm wondering if it's the same Erin."
Liza looked up from her gadgets, her interest clearly caught. "You really think it's her? Oh, I thought you're joking."
"The name is too much of a coincidence. But I'm not sure if she's involved in her father's business or if she's just a regular person trying to stay out of it." Nin stated.
Naz raised an eyebrow. "So you're saying you're not sure if she's a threat or if she's completely innocent?"
"Iyes..," Nin replied. "I don't want to assume anything without more information. She could be completely unaware of her father's dealings, or she could be deeply involved."
Irr drew her attention away from her book with a thoughtful expression. "It might be worth investigating further. We need to find out more about her connections and whether she's linked to Moretti's operations."
Che, who had been listening intently, nodded in agreement. "It's important to get more intel. If she's truly unrelated to the business, we should avoid causing her any trouble. But if she is involved, we need to know how to handle it."
"We should also consider how our interactions with her might impact our operations. If she's connected to Moretti, we need to be careful not to tip her off about what we're doing." Sye added.
"I can dig into her background more thoroughly. I've got access to some databases that might help us verify her connections and find out more about her family." Liza looked up again from her gadgets.
Nin nodded, feeling a bit more at ease with the group's input. "That sounds like a good plan. I'd rather have all the facts before deciding how to proceed. I just want to make sure we're not making any wrong moves."
The group agreed on the plan, each member ready to contribute their skills to uncovering the truth about Erin. As they continued their discussion, Nin got a text message...
