Deception [Vhope/ Taeseok]

18. Taehyung

I was in the dinning area when both women stood there.. The food on the table looked like it was delicious and i can't wait to taste it knowing that it was done by Hobie.. Can you just hear that? Anyway, i don't expect my wife to be the one who cooked this kind of food.. I have lived with her for two fücking good years and i know that she's the worst cook ever.. And because of that, i just asked her to not cook and instead order food..

I just thank my good luck that my good friend decided to visit me while Hobie is here or else it would have been a big disaster for me and my guest.. I know my actions aren't going together with the words that comes out of my mouth, but i will need to figure this out..

"So...where is Jackson, honey?" Yong suddenly asked.

"He's still outside.. He just need to take a phone call." I replied casually

We were already sitted and my wife was sitting in the seat next to me while Hobie on the seat cross to me. I looked at her and she was also looking at me..

"Hello...!"

Fortunately Jack entered the dining area and we were able to break our eye contact with each other. And she turned to look at the Jack who just entered into the dinning room.

"Oh!" She said

What's up with her reaction? Jack sat in the vacant seat next to Hobie, and he glanced at her, and she smiled before putting her attention to the food.

"Oh wait? Mon amour!
(Oh wait? My love!)" Jack blurted out and hugged her, so tight!

"Mon amour? Do you know each other?" I suddenly blurted out, looking curiously at the both of them and to my annoyance, she just gave out a smile and then laugh.

"Yeah, we met each other back in France, it was in winter i think.. I asked her out, and obviously she blow me off.. But i guess it's destiny.. I'll try my luck again , now that she is right here."

Jack answered me and he returned his attention to Hobie and asked her in french;

"Alors, mon amour, comment se fait-il que tu sois ici chez mes meilleurs amis?

(So, my love, how come you're here at my best friend's place?)"

He added in french and i could hear everything.. I can speak french, spanish, Italian and some other languages.. When you are a business man, it's good to know more than one language to avoid loses.

And finding out that Hobie and Jack knows each other, i couldn't help but clench my fist, with more annoyance. I felt angry at myself and the situation we're right now in.. I fixed my gaze to Hobie. I couldn't say a word and nothing came out of my mouth. I just kept quiet and listen in on to their conversation.

Hobie was smiling joyful and answering my best friend's questions with a happy look.. A very different one compare to the one she gave me while in my office earlier today..

"Je suis sa belle-sœur. En d'autres termes, je suis la jeune sœur d'Yong. C'est tellement agréable de ta revoir, Jackson.

(I'am his sister in law. In other word, i'am the young sister of Yong.. It's so nice to meet you again, Jackson.)" she replied

"Wow! My goodness, Jackson. So you're in love with my sister, huh?"

My wife asked, also slightly shocked about the new revelation that Jack just come with..
