"What's your name then?" I asked the girl.
"It's Aoi. And you are?" She replied while asking me.
"I'm Keres. I'm Sakura's younger brother." I replied.
"She doesn't have one?!?!" Aoi exclaimed.
"I do Aoi. I just found that out today." Sakura told Aoi.
"Really? Then does it make me and Keres family?" She asked sakura.
"No that doesn't. I'm his sister because I have the same father as him. You don't. Nand you were just adopted in the family later on by your father who also dated my mother." She said reassuringly.
"Oh, Okay." She said calmly.
We continued talking to each other as the day went by. It turned to night and we walked to the diner to have dinner. We sat in a chair as a waiter walked to our table. I ordered the fish and chips sandwich with extra tartar sauce. Sakura ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Aoi ordered the house salad with greek dressing.
Aoi then whispered to the big guy and had him go get some things from the back room. He came back moments later and put a chess board on the table. He handed Aoi a booklet. She gave it to sakura. She then set up the board. She gave me the whites and she kept the black.
"Have you ever played this game Keres?" Aoi asked me.
"No I haven't. But if you tell me how to play the pieces I'm sure I'll be able to get the hang of it." I replied.
"Well me the pawns can move at most two spaces on your first move. But only on your first move of the pawns each. Then they can move one space the rest of the game. They can attack in a diagonal motion. The knight can move in a L shape. The Bishop can move diagonally. The rook can move in a straight line up or to the sides. The queen can move however many spaces in any direction. The king can move one space in any direction. The only way to promote pawns is to get them to the other side of the board." She stated.
"Ah ok. I got it now." I told her.
We played chess till the food came. Once we all got our food we started to chow down. I gulfed my sandwich down quickly. I waited till Aoi and Sakura finished their dinners. Once they finished their dinners I started a convertsation.
"So Aoi how's life far from the city?" I asked her.
"It's so boring. I rarely see my sister here." Aoi states.
"Ah, so mind if Aoi and I go on a little walk, sakura?" I asked to sakura.
"Sure. but don't be long.we need to wake up early. Just so we can make it to the next city to head to the airport." She stated sternly.
"Alright." I replied to her.
Aoi and I stood up and we walked out the door. I took her to a park where we sat down on the grass. We laid down and looked at the stars. We stayed there for a while just gazing. I looked at Aoi as she looked at me. I started to speak.
"Y'know your not that bad. I thought she was taking me to someone like my brother." I said to Aoi.
"What is your brother like?" She asked me.
"Well he is a rude and obnoxious person. He hates my guts. I don't know why." I say.
"Have you tried asking him why he hates you?" She asked me calmly.
"No, because everytime I approach him he tries to kill me. So I don't approach him." I say.
"Well, Maybe you shouldnt be around him if he tried to kill you." She said, calmly.
