A Reject trying to live life ends up falling in love

Chapter 7: Jesse

I woke up the next morning all tired from Ai telling me she was pregnant. I got up and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. When I got to the first floor I got a queasy feeling. I heard the doorbell ring. I walked to the door and opened it to James and Mayumi. James invited himself into my house. He sat on the couch.

"Oi loser. Go get me some beer!" James said to me.

"No I will not James. Now get the hell out!" I exclaimed.

"Nah, I'm good." James replied to me.

"I swear to god James. Get out of my house before you get beat up again!" I exclaimed again.

"Jesse, please calm down. We only came here to talk to you. As a friend I want to make things right with you." Mayumi said to me through stuttering.

"Well, I don't want to make things right. You didn't keep your dog on your leash. Plus I already have someone." I said calmly.

"Who is it?" Mayumi asked me.

"Her name is Ai. I met her a few minutes after you rejected me. Now I have something special." I told her.

"Really? I'm So happy for you Jesse!" She exclaimed in happiness with a tad bit of sadness in her voice.

"Ha! You got a girlfriend Jesse! That's funny. You couldn't even get Mayumi!" James said while laughing.

"I swear to god I'm going to beat the living hell out of him, Mayumi!" I yelled agitated.

"James, cut it out. You're only making this worse." Mayumi snapped at him.

James got up from the couch angrily. He walked over to Mayumi. He grabbed her collar as she yelped from surprise. I walked towards James and I grabbed his arm. I twisted it so he would let go of Mayumi. Once he let go I sent him to the ground.

"What did you do that for!" James exclaimed with annoyance.

"You are someone I can't stand. You can not hurt Mayumi! I will not allow that!" I told him as I sounded irritated.

"Jesse, please stop antagonizing him. He can do whatever he wants to do with me." Mayumi replied to me.

"No, he needs to learn there will be consequences for him abusing you." I said to Mayumi calmly.

James stood up and punched me from behind. I walked forward into Mayumi knocking us to the floor. I slowly got up but paused as we were extremely close. She started to blush as I could hear her heart race. I got off of her and stood up. She stood up after me.

She looked at me still blushing. I turned around and punched James in the nose. He stumbled back and held his nose. He walked to me and went for another punch. I headbutted him and he fell to the floor knocked out.

"Get him out of here, mayumi." I turned to face her as I said that calmly.

"Alright I will. Then I will be back because I have a bunch of other questions that need to be answered." Mayumi said calmly, still blushing.

"Alright, I'll be here." I told her.

She picked up James and walked out of the house. I shut the door and walked back to the table to eat. I remembered that my sister and parents went on a vacation two weeks ago. I grabbed my food and sat down. I started to eat as I took out my phone and opened up a streaming app.

I turned on a video and started eating while watching it. I finished eating and got up to go to the shower. I walked to the stairs and walked up. I walked towards the bathroom across the hall from my room. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower. I got out moments later and changed.
