"Is this okay?" Hridu asked me for the nth time now
"Yes Hridu it's good" I answered again
"Sirf good?" He asked as he straighten his shirt
"Abeee oh! Hero...... Bas kar. We are not looking a girl for you" nunu scrunched her face
"Toh kya hua? I just want to look handsome. Kya pata agar, bhabi ki koi behen ho?" Hridu smirked and voices out
"Bechari ki zindagi kharab ho jayegi" nunu teased
"Itna bura hoon main?" Hridu pouted
"Bohot bura" nunu giggled
"Bhai..!" He whined and pouted
"Nahi, Mera Bhai, itna bhi bura nahi hain" I said and threw my hand over his shoulder, inu narrowed her eyes
"Dekha... Huh!" He scoffed
"Bohot bura hain" I patted his shoulder
"Bhai....!!!!" He screamed and cupped his mouth, pushing away from me
"Hahaha...." Nunu laughed loudly
"Hey bhagwan.....!!! Nand laal....!!!! Ye mein kya sun raha hoon...... Mere bhai ko mein bura lagta hoon..... Sirf bura nahi..... Bohot bura..... Ye sunne se pehle mein behosh kyu nahi ho jaata???"
He acted with his palm on his forehead and on his hips. Shaking his head to and fro, here and there, gasping and acting like old daily soap heroines. Nunu was laughing, clutching her stomach. The moment he stopped the dialogue, I got his eyes and we also started laughing.
Currently we are in the living room. Ready to go meet the girl who impressed my mother and grandparents. All are ready. But my heart flutters unfamiliarly thinking of different scenarios.
"Pata nahi mere genes aur chromosomes kaha chale gaye?" We heard mami huff and our laughs came to a halt
"Mein bhi vahi soch rahi thi" maasi scratched her chin
"Sochna kya hain? Mujhe toh lag rahi hain ki, ye Tera beta nahi hain" amma said and our eyes bulged out
"Hein....???" We voiced in unison
"Haan!!! Ye sirf V ka beta hain" amma completed and we sighed
"Tum logo ko kya laga? Ki hamne Hridu ko koodedan se uda ke laye?" Maasi asked and giggled
"Nahi mumma, hume laga ki Chachi ne Hridu ko kisi bhikari se khareed ke laye hain" nunu said.
Hridu's eyes widened and mouth parted
"Haina Bhai?" She asked me
"Haan bilkul" I supported and hridu's jaw dropped
"Tum sab bohot bure ho..... Baby, they are teasing me" he complained and ran to amma
"Awwleee.... Mera baccha" she hugged him
"Agar tum logo ka ho gaya ho toh, chale?" Achan entered and asked in a mocking tone
"He is jealous" Hridu whispered and we heard it, but not achan
"He definitely is" maasi whispered back and supported
"Haina?" He pointed his fingers and asked again
"Pakka" mami also nodded
"Are you guys not coming?" Mamu entered with his hands on hips
"Yes we are" mami said as we all walked out
"You look beautiful baby" mamu circled his arm around mami
