>>> At The Graduation Party<<<
The hall was beautifully decorated with balloons and banners celebrating the graduates. Rows of folding chairs were filled with proud parents and friends, all eagerly awaiting the ceremony to begin. The graduate stage was adorned with flowers, and at the center was a podium draped with the school's colors. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation.
Taehyung was dressed in his cap and gown. He glanced around the room, his emotions swirling. Friends and family were seated, witnessing this important moment in his life. He was feeling overwhelmed by the whole thing.
Principal: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024!
The audience applauded, their cheers echoing. Taehyung bit his lip, trying to contain his emotions as he surveyed the crowd, locking eyes with his family member, who beamingly waved at him. He sat with Jackson, Jhope, Jisoo and Jungkook.
Grandma: I'm so proud of you, Tae!
His grandmother said something but he had to lip read because she was sitting a bit far .
Taehyung: Thanks, Grandma!
Principal: Today, we celebrate not just the accomplishments of our graduates, but the relationships they've built and the challenges they've overcome. Now, I'd like to invite our valedictorian, Kim Jisoo, to give her speech!
The room erupted in applause as Jisoo made her way to the stage. Taehyung felt proud as he watched her walk on the stage.
Taehyung: She worked for it... She deserves it...
Jisoo took a deep breath, looking out at her classmates and family. The room quieted down.
Jisoo: Thank you, everyone. This is... incredible.
She steadied herself, glancing down at her notes before looking up warmly at her audience.
Jisoo: Graduation is a bittersweet moment. It's a celebration of everything we've achieved, but also a farewell to the place and people we've grown to love.
Her gaze flickered towards a group of her closest friends, who nod and smiles back, some with glistening eyes.
Jisoo: When I first stepped into this school, I was filled with insecurities and fears. But over the years, I found courage in friendships, in late-night study sessions, and in the mentorship of our incredible teachers.
Jisoo paused, letting her words sink in.
Jisoo: And while we're excited to step into a new chapter, let's not forget the memories we've made together. From our silly moments in the cafeteria to our sleepless nights before exams, each memory has shaped who we are. All of us are patiently waiting for our results. I would like to tell each and everyone of you that these results can be very important but even if your results does not turn out too good, do not feel disappointed and don't let it define your future. Results aren't everything. There are other things you can achieve without getting excellent results. Life will give us all many opportunities. I would like to tell the parents that not all students will get perfect grades. If your child fails just motivate them to do something they love instead of scolding and demotivating them. Trust me they'll feel more disappointed in themselves than you to know they've failed. I want to thank my family, who believed in me even on the days I didn't believe in myself. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for your sacrifices and support. I wouldn't be here without you... And to my classmates, thank you for every laugh, every tear, and every late-night talk that got us through. Despite not being very close with one another we've shared so much, and while we may go our separate ways, I'll carry each and every one of you with me.
