The restaurant was lively with the sounds of laughter and clinking dishes. The mood was celebratory. Taehyung, dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit, entered the restaurant with a bright smile, a hint of nervousness in his eyes. His family and friends were already seated at a long table adorned with colorful balloons and a Welcome Home banner. He smiled brightly and waved at them.

They all settled into their seats. The waiter came by to take drink orders. Taehyung glanced at the empty seat beside him, a flicker of disappointment crossing his face.

Taehyung: Where is Jungkook? I haven't heard from him. He wasn't home either.

His mother exchanged glances with the others, sensing a change in the atmosphere.

Mrs. Kim: Well, we called him but he said he was busy and couldn't come.

Taehyung nodded, but his expression revealed his concern. The waiter arrived with drinks, breaking the moment.

Waiter: Here's to our special guest.

They all raise their glasses, but Taehyung hesitated. He smiled weakly before joining them.

Everyone: Cheers!!!

They clinked their glasses and took a sip. Taehyung's eyes wandered back to the door, waiting expectantly.

Mrs. Jeon: Let's dig in! What do you want to eat, son?

Taehyung looked at the menu but seemed distracted.

Taehyung: Uh, I'll just have what everyone else is having.

Everyone started ordering variety of dishes. Taehyung still glanced at the door, his mind clearly elsewhere. The atmosphere was joyous, but he couldn't shake off his worry. He looked up and eyes shot wide open at what he saw. Jimin laughing and chatting with Jackson and Jhope as he sat between them.

Taehyung: Why does it look like I walked into an alternate universe? Y'all are friends now?

Jimin smiled and kept his arms on both Jackson and Jhope's shoulder.

Jimin: We're like the new power trio. The dynamic trio. We are the three Js now.

Jackson: Are we really going with three Js? Like it sounds like a cheesy boy band.

Taehyung: You guys would make the worst boy band ever. But seriously, why the sudden friendship? Did someone get dropped on their heads?

Jhope grinned.

Jhope: It all started with a fateful encounter while you were away.

Jhope: I was trying to tell him how annoying Jackson can be, and suddenly he decided we should join forces against Jackson.

Jackson crossed his arms.

Jackson: You're joining forces against me?

Jimin: Yes.

Jackson rolled his eyes.

Jackson: Whatever.

Taehyung chuckled. 

Taehyung: Well at least I don't have to choose who to be with now.

Taehyung: So what do you all do now?

Tzuyu: I'm modelling.

Jisoo: I'm a psychiatrist.

Namjoon: I'm still Jungkook's man.

Yoongi: I'm a news reporter.

Taehyung: You left Luxe Labels?

Yoongi: Yeah I can't deal with his bipolar ass.
