School

"You still coming round to mine?"

"Yeah! Can't wait. My bags are in the back." I replied, grinning.

Ebony nodded and slipped her arm around mine.

"I have a feeling this one is going to be our best!" She said.

"For sure!"

We walked through the double doors of our school and went our separate ways to lessons.

"Yo Y/n science now with me, aren't you lucky?" A voice called out from beside me.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Very."

"Aw, come on, you know you love me!" Josh said, nudging my arm.

"I'm not so sure about that." I responded, raising a brow and chuckling. 

We strolled into the classroom and sat down next to each other, chatting.

"Josh, like my new gloss?" A girl called out.

"No Josh look there's a seat here next to me!" Another cooed.

"So I heard you and Ebony are having a sleepover?" Josh said, ignoring the group of giggling girls.

"Yes, we are. It's going to be brilliant!" I said excitedly.

"Silence! This is not how we enter my classroom!" Mr James yelled. Everyone jumped and quietened.

"To be completely honest, sir, you were probably the loudest out of all of us." Josh commented lazily flicking my pen off the table.

I gasped and quickly covered my mouth, trying to cover my laughter.

Mr James stormed over to our table.

"Josh outside now! Y/n, stop those pig noises immediately. Otherwise, you will be next." He snapped.

"That's not very nice. You wouldn't like it if I called you a pig." Josh said irritatedly.

"JOSH OUT!" He screamed, pointing to the door.

"I don't want to see you ever again in my classroom!"

"Fair enough." He said, shrugging and walking out. 

The lesson slowly dragged on after the commotion.

Once the bell had rung, I hurried out to find Josh.

He was leaning against the wall, talking to all his friends. I decided to leave him. I wasn't a very bug fan of his group. All the popular dudes.

I found Ebony and filled her in on what had happened. She cackled, and we made our way to our next lesson.

"Mums texted me, cover me." I whispered to Ebony. She nodded and reached in front of me for a book.

I took the chance and quickly read the message. I replied with a thumbs up and then tucked my phone back into my bag as Ebony sat back down.

"What did she say?"

"That after school, she has to quickly nip to the shops she wants me to come with her to get Isaac a present." I muttered.

"And then she can drop you off at mine!" Ebony said happily. I nodded.

"Hopefully, she won't be too long, you know how she is in shops." I said giggling.

Ebony nodded and started scribbling on the desk.
