One day, as I was walking home, lost in

my usual thoughts, a man approached

me. I recognized him immediately-he

was a well-known YouTuber in the music

industry, someone whose videos I had

seen a few times. He was famous enough

that even people outside of the YouTube

world would likely know his face.

He smiled as he approached, holding a

microphone in one hand and a camera in

the other. I was surprised when he

stopped in front of me and asked for an

interview. It was unexpected, but I

accepted. It could be fun, I thought.

Man: "Hello, how are you?"

Arianna: "Hello, I'm fine, thanks."

Man: "What is your name?"

Arianna: "I'm Arianna."

Man: "Well, Arianna, I wanted to ask you

some questions. Are you ready?"

Arianna: "Yes, go ahead."

Man: "Who is your favorite singer?"

Arianna: "Adele."

Man: "Wow, fantastic choice. She is my

idol too. So, lately, we've recognized

some stories about Adele that are lesbian

love stories. Have you seen them?"

My heart stopped for a moment. How

does he know that? I felt a cold wave of

panic starting to rise within me.

Arianna: "No, I haven't. Are they famous

or something?"

Man: "They're not that famous, but the

writer definitely has a taste. And Adele

talked about these stories and reacted, so

since then, the writer, 'Hope,' has gotten

quite famous."

I felt like the ground had just shifted

beneath me. My stomach twisted with a

mix of shock and terror.

Man: "And we're searching for her.

According to our sources, it's a girl, and

she lives in London. We don't have an

exact picture, but we do have a picture of

her back. Your hair is actually quite

similar to hers."

I could feel my chest tightening, my

breathing becoming shallow. I was on

the verge of a panic attack but tried my

best to play it cool.

Arianna: "Oh, really? I didn't know that

Adele reacted to the story. When was

this?"

Man: "Last night in an interview."

I suddenly remembered-I was supposed

to watch that interview this afternoon.

My mind raced. Oh my god, what should

I do?

Arianna: "Wow, that's really amazing. I'm

happy for this writer. I'll definitely read

her stories. But I really should go. Thank

you. Bye."

I could hardly keep my composure as I

quickly excused myself. I practically ran

away, my heart pounding in my chest.

As I turned the corner, far from the

YouTuber's sight, I realized I had just

made a huge mistake. In my panic, I

might have given away too much, and I

had no idea how this would come back to

haunt me.
