Adele POV:

The days following the photoshoot with

Rihanna had been a whirlwind. I couldn't

shake the feeling of unease that had

settled over me. It wasn't just about

Rihanna's undeniable charisma or her

effortless charm-it was something

deeper, something that gnawed at me

with a persistence I couldn't ignore.

I had seen Arianna in a new light during

that shoot. Her grace under pressure, her

effortless ability to connect with

someone as high-profile as Rihanna it

all made her even more captivating to

"Adele! What a surprise," she said, her

"Thought I'd drop by," I said, trying to
