Adele's POV:

I was more excited than I cared to admit.

This was unusual for me-I had met

countless people over the years, from

fans to industry professionals, and rarely

did I feel this kind of anticipation.

But today was different.

Today, I was going to meet the woman I

was convinced was behind those

incredible stories, the ones that had

touched me in a way few things had in

recent years.

It wasn't just curiosity that drove me-it

was something deeper, something I

hadn't fully acknowledged yet.

I wanted to meet her, to see her up close,

to understand who she was.

I made her wait a little.

Partly because I wanted her to settle

down, and partly because I needed a

moment to collect myself.

The anticipation was building, and I

didn't want to come across as overly

eager.

I had also instructed my team not to

mention anything about me to her

beforehand.

I wanted to see her genuine reaction, to

catch her off guard just a bit.

When I finally entered the room where

she was waiting, the look on her face was

priceless.

Her eyes widened in shock, and for a

brief moment, I was certain she forgot

how to breathe.

It was as if time stood still, and in that

instant, I could see the impact I had on

her.

But then, she seemed to realize the

situation, and I watched as she tried to

mask her feelings.

It was a valiant effort, but she couldn't

fool me.

I've met so many people over the years,

and I pride myself on being able to read

them well.

Arianna, though, was an open book, and

she was even easier to read than most.

She reached out to shake my hand, and I

noticed how her hand trembled slightly.

But what struck me most was the

warmth of her touch.

Her hands were soft, and I found myself
