The café Adele had mentioned was

tucked away on a quiet street, its cozy

ambiance a stark contrast to the bustling

London outside. The moment we stepped

inside, the scent of freshly brewed coffee

and the warm glow of the dim lighting

enveloped us, creating a bubble of

intimacy that made the world outside

feel far away.

Adele led the way to a small table by the

window, her presence commanding yet

comforting. We ordered our drinks-she

chose a flat white, and I went with my

usual black coffee. As we waited, I

couldn't help but steal glances at her,

still in disbelief that I was sitting across

from her like this. Adele was chatting

casually, but there was an undercurrent

of something more, something that made

my heart race just a little faster.

"So," she began, her eyes meeting mine

with a playful glint. "Tell me about

yourself, Arianna. Outside of

photography and writing, what do you

do for fun?"

I paused, trying to think of something

interesting to say. But her gaze was so

intense, so focused on me, that I found

myself blurting out the truth. "Honestly?

I'm a bit of a homebody. I love watching

movies, reading books, and... well, I

guess I'm a bit obsessed with music too.

Especially yours."

She grinned, her eyes sparkling with

amusement. "I'm flattered. Any favorite

songs?"

"Oh, definitely," I said, feeling a little

more confident now. "But it's hard to

pick just one. 'Someone Like You' always

gets me, but there's something about 'All

I Ask' that just... I don't know, it hits

differently."

Her smile softened, and for a moment,

she seemed to be lost in thought. "That's

one of my favorites too," she admitted.

"It's personal, you know? I put a lot of

myself into that song."

"I can tell," I replied, my voice softer

now. "It's raw, and it's real. That's what I

love about your music. It's like you're not
