Chapter 14

Adele POV:

A month had passed since that fateful

night when our relationship had

changed forever. Arianna and I had been

growing closer, our bond deepening with

every shared moment.

But there was an underlying tension, a

secret that Arianna had kept from me,

which was now public knowledge.

The revelation about "Hope" had hurt,

not because of the secret itself, but

"I saw today that the fan blog revealed

your identity as Hope."

Arianna's eyes widened, and she looked

guilty. "Adele, I...". She was shocked and

sad." I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hide it

from you. I was afraid of how you'd

"I knew from the beginning," I said,

cutting her off. "What I needed was for

you to be honest with me before the

media found out. The secrecy and the

betrayal are what hurt the most. I

understand that you couldn't tell me

before but we have been together for a

month and this means you have never

"What can I do to make this right?" she

asked, her voice trembling.

I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of

anger and resolve. "You need to

understand that trust is crucial in our

relationship. Since you chose to hide this

from me, I think it's only fair that you

experience some consequences."
