Trent and Courtney stood waiting outside the office of Courtney's mother and Trent's father.

They had been friends ever since their parents had worked together (which was a very long time). The two shared a lot in common, their parents were both lawyers, they were both lawyers and were in a band (Trent: guitar, Courtney: vocals) , and they both had many failed relationships.

And they were both bisexual.

But nobody could know they were bi. The community was extremely homophobic, so nobody could know that the long walks Heather and Courtney shared were actually make-out sessions, or the times Trent invited Justin over to his house were to vent about life.

But anyway, back to the present.

Courtney and Trent walked inside the large office and there stood Courtney's mother and Trent's father.

"Hey mom," Courtney mumbled, while Trent nodded a silent hello to his father.

"Courtney, Trent, we've got something to ask you..." Trent's father said, nervously scratching the back of his neck. "Are- are you two gay?"

"Of course not!" Courtney protested. "I am most definitely straight, and so is Trent!"

Courtney's mother sighed. "We found some footage of you and that girl... Hannah, was it? And we also found some footage of Trent and Justin."

"Mom, it's Heather-" Courtney said, but she was interrupted by Trent's father.

"What we mean to say is, are you two gay?" he swiftly asked.

Courtney and Trent nodded.

"Well, technically we're bi." Trent clarified. "Are you mad at us?"

Trent's father shook his head. "Of course not! We completely support you! But I don't think Judge McKinley will..."

Judge McKinley was their boss and an extremely corrupt, homophobic and racist judge. Of course nobody from the public knew, but Trent and Courtney, plus their parents, knew everything.

Courtney's mom exhaled. "He's saying, to prove if you're not gay, you two have to marry each other."

Trent and Courtney burst into laughter.

"You're not expecting ME to marry HIM? I love him like a brother, but obviously not!" Courtney asked.

"If you don't marry each other by the end of this month, he's going to fire you."

Those words hit Courtney like a bullet. She had been training her whole life, never backed down even when Duncan cheated, and now she was going to get fired just because she was bisexual?

"We'll do it." she said bravely, dragging Trent out of the room without so much as a second glance backward.

Now all they had to do was to tell Heather and Justin.

- time skip to later that evening -

Trent had booked a nice dinner at their local pasta restaurant, meeting up with Courtney, Heather and Justin in their usual corner booth.

"Hey guys," Courtney smiled awkwardly, soon after they sat down. "So, me and Trent, we have to tell you something.

"You know our crusty old homophobic boss? Well he's got a suspicion that we're bi, so hewantsustogetmarriedbytheendofthismonth." Courtney said, the end coming out in a rush.

"What?" Justin and Heather asked simultaneously.

"He wants us to get married by the end of the month..." Trent mumbled, expecting them to shout, yell, heck even throw something at them.

But Heather and Justin surprisingly took it really well.

"We totally support you." Heather said, clasping Courtney's hands in hers. "And we'll be waiting for you once you divorce!"

Courtney laughed. "Good. We already sent the invitations for our 'wedding' on the 27th of August. You two are definitely coming. Dress fancy, by the way."

-meanwhile, in an apartment a few blocks away-

"GWEN! WE GOT MAIL! AND IT LOOKS SUPER FANCY!" Duncan shouted from the front door.

Gwen and Duncan remained friends after All Stars, and were still madly in love with their exes. Little did they know, their exes had moved on...

"Cool," Gwen said opening the cream-lined stock paper.

Her eyes widened as she read the gold cursive text written on the front.

"Courtney and Trent are getting MARRIED?"
