It has been a rough couple of days for everyone in Hawkins, but it has been especially hard for a Dungeons and Dragons obsessed, drug-dealer, Eddie Munson. In order to really understand what has been making life so difficult for him, we have to travel back to two weeks ago.

*Flashback*

"Yo, Eddie!" Dustin calls, as he runs up to him in the hallway after the final bell of the school days rings.

"Yeah, what's up?" Eddie questions, turning around to connect eyes with the younger.

"Can you drop me off at Family Video today?" Dustin asks, his toothless grin appearing on his face.

Eddie shrugs, "yeah, sure. What happened to your normal ride? And why Family Video?"

Dustin huffs, "first, his Friday shift changed to an hour later. Second, that's where my ride is."

Eddie nods his head, as he slams his locker shut and starts walking to the front doors, "what's this kid's name again?"

"Steve," Dustin answers, following after him like a lost puppy.

When they get into Eddie's Uncle's car, they drive off to Family Video.

"Thanks for the ride." Dustin says, as he gets out of the car.

The younger cocks his head when Eddie follows suit, "what are you doing?"

"I want to meet this Stevie guy." Eddie says, as he shuts his door and locks the car.

Dustin smiles, "this will be fun then."

With that toothless smile, the two head into Family Video. The second the door opens, Eddie is met with sight of a basic looking man with amazing hair.

"Oh hey, Dusty! Sorry about my shift change." the man says, his fingers running through his golden brown waves.

"No problem," Dustin begins, "I can use it an excuse for you to meet Eddie Munson, the leader of the Hellfire Club."

The second those light brown eyes meet Eddie's dark brown eyes, he is swooned.

*End of Flashback*

That was the first time, Eddie had ever been so taken back by the simple sight of a person. His mind has been torn ever since, yet he can't help but find himself at Family Video every day after that. There was one specific moment that really messed with his head.

*Flashback*

Eddie walks into Family Video alone, searching for new movies and maybe someone to talk to. When he looks around, he immediately notes Steve bent over looking at some DVRs on the bottom shelf. Eddie couldn't help but stare at a specific attribute of Steve's.

"Like what you see, Munson?" Steve voice breaks through Eddie's thoughts, causing his face to turn a crimson red.

"Sorry," Eddie begins, avoiding any form of eye contact, "I blanked out."

"I know I've got an ass, but never thought it would distract a dude." Steve says, as he walks over to the counter.

He hops up onto it, "what are you doing here without Dustin?"

"Just wanted some new movies." Eddie states, his cheeks still a bright red, as he makes eye contact with Steve.

Steve smirks, "wow, my ass has left you quite speechless."

Eddie quickly looks away, "sorry-"

"Stop apologizing," Steve responds, his eyes asking Eddie to come closer, and he does.

Eddie slowly steps over to Steve and stands right in front of the older's legs. Steve reaches out and pulls him closer by the shoulder.

"You're cute." Steve states, his hand finding its way to Eddie's long, dark hair.

The moment last for a minute, before Steve pushes him in the direction of the movies, "go find a movie, Eds."

Eddie walks away, his mind going for a loop.

*End of Flashback*

After that experience, Eddie can definitely confirm that he likes Steve. And it isn't just that one interaction. There were multiple instances of Steve hinting that he knows about Eddie's crush. For instance, Steve loves lightly grazing Eddie's waist everytime he walks by or giving him a wink every minute or two, and this has Eddie on his knees. He can't help but fall for Steve the more he gets messed with. The final straw is just about to happen for the younger.

Eddie is sitting on a random wall at the back of the school. He is watching Steve, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Max, and Robin play basketball together, but he can only focus on Steve. He intently watches the sweat drip off of Steve's body, his eyes glancing up and down every now and then. He doesn't really even notice how much he is staring, until Dustin interrupts him.

"Dude, are you there?" Dustin questions, his hand waving in front of Eddie's face.

Eddie quickly snaps out of it and shakes his head, "yeah, sorry. You need something?"

Dustin ruffles his eyebrows, "no, but do you? You seem real sweaty for someone just sitting there."

Eddie whips the sweat from his face, "yes, I'm good. Just blanked out."

"Yo, Eds, you good?" Steve's silky voice rings through Eddie's ears, as he looks away from Dustin.

"Yeah. 'm fine." Eddie responds, words becoming hard to form at the sight of Basketball Steve so close to him.

"You sure? You look like you could use some water," Steve begins, "come inside with me."

Before Eddie can even form a response, his hand is taken into Steve's and he is being pulled into the school locker room. The second they get inside, Steve chucks a bottle of water at him, "drink this."

"Thanks," is all Eddie can say, before drinking out of the bottle.

"No problem." Steve responds, taking a seat on one of the benches, "you seemed pretty distracted out there. What's on your mind?"

Eddie sighs, sitting next to him and setting the bottle on the ground, "I don't even know where to begin with that shit."

Steve chuckles, "you could start with talking. That might help. Come on, lay it on me."

Eddie sighs again, "well, you know how I'm pan?"

"Yeah?" Steve responds.

"Well, I like a guy and he seems to like me back, but he's too conceded to tell me." Eddie says, his fingers beginning to fidget with the hem of his shirt.

Steve nods his head, "do I know this conceded guy?"

Eddie lets out a conflicted huff before responding, "yeah."

"Tell me more about him." Steve says, his eyes watching Eddie's hands.

"Well, he loves to flirt with me all the fucking time and then just walk away and act like nothing happened. Quite a shitty thing to do, if you ask me." Eddie responds, only pausing for a second afterwards to think back about what he just said.

Steve hums, "let me guess. Are you talking about me?"

Eddie's face heats up within seconds of that question reaching his ears. He is quick to stand up and look anywhere other than at Steve. The older lets out a soft laugh, as he stands up and grabs Eddie's waist. Within seconds, Eddie's back is pressed against a random locker and his face is inches away from Steve's.

"Sorry for being so conceded. I wanted to make sure you liked me back, before talking about it with you." Steve says, his voice coming out in that same-old innocent Harrington tone.

Eddie stares into the older's eyes for a moment, before responding, "well, you could have brought it up sooner."

Steve hums in agreement, "yeah, but then we would never been in this exact situation."

Eddie is only given a second of breath, before Steve's lips are planted on his own.
