Gracies POV(4 Years Old)

"Why do I have to get into my PJ's now?" I asked quizzically.

"I already told you Gracie" Will reminded as he pulled my pajama top over my head "we've got some friends coming over and you'll be going to bed very soon anyway" he explained for the millionth time.

"That's not fair," I frowned. "How come I have to go to bed early when there's still people here?" I complained.

"Because it's gonna be late and way past your bedtime as it is" he said matter of factly.

"I don't even need a bedtime," I declared.

"Well hard luck because you have one," he replied.

"Can I go on my tablet?" I asked him, causing him to raise an eyebrow at my "please can I go on my tablet?" I repeated.

"You'll have to ask Jay, he was the one who confiscated it" he replied with a shrug.

"JAY?" I yelled as I walked out into the corridor.

"In here" he replied from his bedroom "you know we only live in an apartment right? You don't need to yell quite so loud" he commented once i had entered his room.

"Sorry" I shrugged, causing him to raise an amused eyebrow at me "can I go on my tablet please?" I asked with the best puppy eyes I could muster.

"No Gracie you've had enough screen time today" he denied making me poke out my bottom lip.

"But I didn't even do anything wrong for you to take it off me" I argued.

"I never said you did Gracie. I took it off you because you've had too much screen time already today" he replied.

"But I'm bored," I complained, throwing my head back dramatically.

"Read a book then" he suggested.

"When is everyone gonna be here?" I asked and just then there was a knock on the door.

"How did you do that?" Jay asked jokingly, making me giggle and run ahead of him before waiting impatiently for him to open the front door.

"Hey guys come on in" Jay greeted before opening the food further to allow everyone to enter.

"Kelly!" I exclaimed when I saw him and giggled as he picked me up and spun me around before holding me on his hip.

"Hey squirt" he greeted "you get taller and taller every time I see you" he joked.

"Will had to take me shopping to buy me all new clothes 'cause I got too big for the other ones" I explained, making him laugh before placing me down on the floor.

I spent about half an hour sitting with Hailey, Kim, April and Stella until Will came over to us.

"Right Graciekins" He said as he rested two hands on my shoulders "I need you to go brush your teeth ready for bed please" he instructed, making me groan.

"But I'm not tired," I complained.

"Well I still want you to go to bed" he replied "c'mon. Let's just have a nice smooth bedtime today. No tantrums." he lightly lectured.

"Five minutes" I bargained.

"No. Now Gracelyn." He said firmly.

"Fine. I'll brush my teeth but I'm not going to bed" I grumbled before climbing off of the sofa and sulking my way to the bathroom. I don't even need to brush my stupid teeth. I ran the water from the faucet and waited a couple of minutes before turning off the water and walking back out to the party.
