"Dom, she's not ready yet." Letty's voice was threatening to break as she tried to blink back the tears stinging her eyes.

Only Olive had the ability to make her feel this way.

Even before Letty knew who Olive was in her life, she always had a way of making her feel things Letty couldn't describe herself. Back when she was running around the world with Owen Shaw, she had always been drawn to the young girl who would regularly show up in their bases and help. That part she now understood.

" We don't have a choice, Lett." Dom says, meeting Letty's gaze. He stood next to her by their bedroom window, her face was half covered by the shadows from the afternoon sun but it failed to hide the tears threatening to fall from his wife's eyes.

" She needs to know." Dom watched as Letty closed her eyes for a moment, her brows knitting together. Letty could almost feel a physical pain rising from her chest. She couldn't bear to imagine a life without Olive by her side.

" She's going to walk. She'll walk away and she'll never come back." Letty could hear the fear in her own voice. Like Dom, she's been dreading the day this would come. As much as she wanted to tell the truth, she knows at the back of her mind that once it was out, the chances of Olive was next to none. The fear of losing her daughter all over again pushed both Letty and Dom to the shadows, settling to have their daughter within their reach but never be able to touch.

" You know I'm not going to let that happen, Letty." He took her face in his hands, his thumb wiping the tear that had made its way to Letty's cheek.

" We'll figure it out, I promise."
