Lizzy is now done with the said operation, it took her and the team four to five hours to finish the operation.

As she went out to the operating room, the family of her 8 year old patient went towards her and seeking and hoping for a good news that she will say.

She just informed the family that the operation is successful and they will just prepare the patient and test the child before they transfer to the room.

The family cried in happiness as she announced the successful operation and the mother instantly hugged Lizzy, so she just rubbed the mothers back to give her a comfort.

"Sige ho, maari nyo nalang pong hintayin si Jaiden sa room nya, mauuna napo ako" she is in a hurry because. She felt something bad earlier while she's performing an operation.

"Maraming maraming salamat po doc" Lizzy just smiled at them then started to walk away and head to her office.

As she entered her office, she took off her coat and hang it on the back of her swivel chair and took her seat.

She get her phone. She saw a hundred plus missed calls from Kenneth, her mom, her dad. She felt uneasy because it never happened before.

Then her door suddenly opened then her nurse assistant walked in. "Doc nasa ER po si sir Kenneth" she immediately stood up.

"What?!" She felt bad and scared. "K-kanina pa po sila an hour after your operation started" she wasted no time and ran out from her office leaving Jenny behind.

She can't deny it na in the past 6 years? Her feelings slowly developed for Kenneth. Her heart beat fast as she walks like running heading the ER.

Jenny her nurse assistant just followed her.

When she reached the ER, she saw Kenneth walking back and forth. Then she saw the one who's laying on the bed with so much bruises.

When She went near to Kenneth, he noticed her pressence immediately. But not the usual him who will approach her with a hug nor kiss.

"W-what happened to Christ?" He kness felt jelly as she saw her son in that state. "As yourself, what happened to our son" is he pointing this to me as my fault?

She just looked at her vulnerable son and cry. "He was so happy when we went to his school as a whole family. You promised him that you will never leave until the event was over. But you break your promise Lizzy, when he noticed that you were gone so long he started questioning me where are you, I don't know what to say, I lied to him several times"

She's just looking at her son sobbing, but she's listening to Kenneth. "An hour past he went near me again and ask where are you, hindi pa ako nakakasagot sinabi nya na iniwan mo nanamn siya. I told him na you have an emergency here at the hospital but he shouted na lagi nalang ang mgapasyenge mo anginuuna mo at nagsimula na itong umiyak"

"Tumakbo sya papalayo saakin hindi ko siya agad nahabol at nang makita ko siya nasa labas na siya ng eskwela... I saw it Lizzy, I saw it with my bare eyes he got hit hard a an suv" when she heard the reason she felt her knees are going to betray her.

She fell down on the floor. Napaka sama kong ina!!

"S-sorry, I'm sorry" she breaksdown

Kenneth just looked at her with no emotions, he's blaming her to what happened to their son.

She tried to stood up and held Christ hand. "A-anak ko, baby w-wag mo i-iiw-wan s-si M-mom-my p-please" she's crying hard. She just saved her patient's life but the return to her is this.

She looked at Kenneth, and walks near him. "S-sorry, daddy" as she hugged him. Sobbing. He's resisting her.

"Anong magagawa ng sorry mo? Mapapagaling ba nyan ang ang ko?" He said coldly. She looked at him with full of regrets in her eyes.
