My husband and I lived with his family in a trailer house, big enough for the seven of us in a small trailer park. We knew all of our neighbors and they knew us. Everything was pretty quiet in our small little community. The only thing that was weird, was one of our neighbors had this big tiger, mixed with a lion. There would be times when the hybrid would be blue, times when it would be purple, and other times a normal orange-yellow color. It was beautiful but terrifying.
The hybrid would always stay on his side of the street and walk to the end of the street and back and would never fuck with us. We just made sure never to cross the street when the hybrid was out. The neighbor that owned him was the house right across from ours and would always call him inside when the time came. Life went on just like that until one day.
One day, the hybrid decided to get a little bit adventurous and came across the street, right up into our yard. We were startled because this was an odd change in behavior. We tried to remain calm and slowly went back inside to the house. No issues. Then it started happening more and more. We spoke to the neighbor about it but that didn't seem to do much good, so we just dealt with it.
Then, the hybrid did more than just come in our yard one day. He decided our pit bull looked like a tasty snack, so he killed her. We only found a leg left of her. We were furious! We went and banged on the neighbor's door and they didn't even apologize! They just laughed and brushed us off.
We had enough, so we sat outside, just waiting for the hybrid to come up and try to snatch up our little chihuahua. Sure enough, here came the hybrid! Only he was bolder than ever this time. He went after Jake, my husband's little brother! Jake had quick reflexes, thankfully, so he managed to get away but we had to fight the hybrid. We fought and fought but nothing seemed to even hurt the hybrid!
Finally, my mother-in-law and I gave up and came into the house, but the boys didn't. My husband grabbed his big knife, Jake grabbed another knife, and Joshua grabbed a gun. They went back outside and sliced at the hybrid and shot at him. Then the smell of iron flooded the air and the boys came inside covered in blood splatter. I checked out of our window and saw the beautiful creature lying there. He seemed to be lifeless, with his fur glowing a beautiful blue and a pool of red blood surrounding him.
I was sad for a minute, but quickly got over it and I wouldn't let our 7 year old nephew, who had spent the night over here look outside because I knew he shouldn't see the hybrid like that. I shut the blinds and hugged my husband. Then, we heard a roar and we knew it wasn't over. Joshua picked up his gun again, and I peeked outside. The hybrid had lived and was pissed off!
Joshua ran out of the door even though we tried to stop him, saying that he couldn't let that beast live. We could hear some gunshots but the roaring didn't stop. We glanced outside and what we saw, stopped our hearts. Joshua had raced around the corner and the hybrid had followed suit. We didn't see or hear anything after that, so all we could hope for, was that Joshua had survived the Lion Tiger Hybrid.
