On Monday we did go for coffee, then again on Wednesday but we couldn't meet on Friday, so we are having drinks tonight.Just the two of us.
When Marta asked me if I wanted to go out Saturday I didn't know if I should tell her that I'm having hanging out with Vijay.
Here I am, getting on the tube, on my way to the bar he mentioned in Shoreditch.
"I don't think I ever met a Mauritian in my life"
" My parents are from there and I was born and raised in Paris"
" Do you know the language?"
" I do actually, its called Mauritian creole"
" Wow that's really cool, son tell me more about your host family"
It's amost like we twinned with our outfits. Vijay is wearing a pink long sleeve hoodie, dark blue jeans and a black jacket, it was cold tonight. On the other hand I was wearing a strapless burgendy top with also dark blue jeans and a black jacket.
I am having lemonade and vodka and Vijay is having a a pint of guinness. He offered me to taste it and it was the worst thing I have ever drank. It was bitter and just not enjoyable, I am happy with my drink.
He wanted to me to talk about my host family so I did.
Zara and Antonio were an amazing couple, as individual they were really nice but as a couple you could see that they complete each other. Zara is a British Pakistani, and Antonio a British Mexican, they have two children, Aliya and Noa. Zara is a police offier and Antonio is Bank manager. They were warm people, since i came here they have being very involve in my life to make sure I was confortable and not feel lost in London, they were always ready to help.
After three hours of drinking and going to five different bars, we are parting ways.
"I'll take the bus from here, it will take me straight home"
" I'll take the tub but I'll wait with you for the bus"
" You don't have to do that Vijay, I'll be fine"
"Are you insane, there is no one on the bus stop and I'm not letting you stay here alone"
I really had fun and weirdly enough after 7 drinks i was not drunk nor tipsy, or maybe I was but I didn't feel like it.
We talked so much about our childhood and future plans, also joked around like we were always friends and not colleagues. It was interesting.
" I have never kissed anyone waiting at a bus stop"
I laughed, it was such a random thing to say, that
I had to laugh."Even I never did, but why would you say that?
"Maybe because I want to kiss you Kushi"
There it is, the innocent and cute smile. This whole evening I asked myself what was going on between us. You don't have this kind of relation with your colleague. You don't hold hands while crossing the road after you almost fell and now they make sure you don't fall by holding your hand.
So when he leaned in for a kiss I didn't resist.
His lips were so soft, he taste like apple, because of the apple shots we had. His tongue was warm and making me feel hot. I liked the sound he made when I slightly bite his bottom lip. It was the sexiest thing I've heard in a while.
" You know ...
i didn't listent anything he said, I grabbed his collar and pulled him closer. I want to feel his lips on mine a bit longer.
I love this feeeling.
The way my body reacted because of him.
I want more of him. His fingers under my t-shirt, carressing my skin, keeping my waist close to him. His smell was intoxicating, I love it.
I don't want this to end, so I dind't stop.
