" Hey check this out, we could go for this paint and sip thing. It looks fun, what do you think ? "

" Or we could buy a bottle of wine and some paint and brushes with small canvas, do the whole think at your place ? it would be cheeper "

" yes, thank you Vijay ! I'm really excited to do this, I wanted to go there with Liyla but she didn't want to go"

Liyla and I started to hang out togheter during coffe breaks since Vijay has started again his smoking session a week ago.

Good thing is, he is not avoiding me because of the smell and bad thing I've grown to like the smell of cigarrets on him.

Liyla has shown a great interest in exploring Scotland but she has been hesitant every time I  have asked her to go somewhere. 

She is quite shy and introverted so I started to think that was her excuse, she would rather stay at home then go out which I understand. 

Althought thinking really hard about it, she refused only when I mentionned Vijay would be there and if I forget to mention it, she would ask after confirming the plans only to cancel knowing Vijay is going to be there. 

My plan is to get Vijay tispy enough so he can tell me what is wrong with between them and that was going to happen tonight. 

This saturday afternoon after I asked about the sip and paint thing when we met for lunch we both went to buy what we needed in shops.

 We got two different red wines, I chose one of my favorites and he chose the one with the higher alcohol percentage.

Typical of him when it came to wine.

Since he didn't know anything about it, he would just chose the one that was the most bitter and would get him drunk first.

After many of my complains that it was not the right way to drink wine, he promised to come with me to wine tasting to know more about wine. 

We then got paints, brushes and canvas. We thought of doing first on a canvas which we would offert to each other depending how well it turns out and if we are sober enough to continue, will be doing that on paper which could also be fun, so we also got coloured pencils and papers 

After that little awkward incident we didn't mention anything, we met the next staurday, went to do some shopping and later in the night had diner. 

The whole week was normal, or at least no awkwardness between us.

Now Liyla was the one being cold to Vijay.

So now in attempted to know what is happening between them, I'm hosting this sip and paint activity at my place. 

We prepared a charcuterie board.

Vijay brought crackers, three types of meat ( salami, prosciutto and ham), he also got spicy olives, persan and orange cheddar. I already had almonds, pistachios and cashews so I bought burrata, some fruits like grappes, blackberries, apples, dried mango and apricots. For crackers spreads we both decided to get hummus and blackberries jam. 

It was our first time attempting to make a charcuterie board and those were some ideas we got from internet and pinterest. 

It turned out beautiful but was it as deliciousas it looked, that we had to wait and see. 

After assembling the charcurterie board, we set up all the tools we needed to start painting and Vijays job was to openned the wine bottle, and we started with my chosen one. 

" Do you know what theme you are going with ?"

" am I allowed to to tell you ? "

" Vijay, its not a competition! "
