When the ocean and waves meet in it's beautiful synchronized dance as they collide with one another, sometimes gentle, sometimes rough and unforgiving, yet, they always met and come back together as one, despite their clashing natures.

There stood Hongjoong and Seonghwa, like waves and oceans, finding each other, fury and all, hope and love.

One had passion for the sea, calm and cool, but underneath the skin layered body, reveal a soul of anger and harshness, not wanting to be tamed, as being controlled was choking and nude, making them vulnerable for everyone.

One had dreamed of a bigger life, a life where fish wouldn't swim in it, but they would swim, if they weren't so scared of pain and consequence, the costly pain that was being free, in such a cold world.

Standing in each other's presence, as chaos makes it's movements very obvious, the laughter of insane men, the tears of fallen women, and the energy from people who just got their life back, away from the iron bars and red coats filled the prison with other emotion than death.

The rain falling down around, representing birth and release, as nothing last forever, even one's lasting pains will eventually heal.

"Seonghwa"
Hongjoong breathed. His eyes fixated on him, as if he was a ghost.

"You miss me?" Seonghwa said, smirking, as his wet hair, gave him a more devilious look than he used to.

Hongjoong gave him a deadpan expression of nothing "M-miss you?! You ruined my life!"

Seonghwa could see the anger in Hongjoong's eyes, he wish he could explain what happened a decade ago, but he wasn't ready to know about him, a human soul is a fragile thing, one wrong thing and they break into billions of pieces.

Seonghwa sighed, "You don't understand."

Hongjoong's was a pure face of disgust and hate "I don't understand?! no- you don't understand! I watched my papa die RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! and you- didn't help me! i know you heard my screams! who didn't!"

Seonghwa closed his eyes and nodded, yes, he did hear those screams, they haunted him actually, constantly echoing in his soul and mind, but there was no time to help him, they one day he will Hongjoong that old man still loved him, and died because he couldn't bare losing another son, and wished that his last memory was him alive.

"Hong-" Seonghwa was cut off as he was pushed up roughly against the wall, tears in Hongjoong's eyes, chest heaving, the tight grip on Seonghwa's shoulder was causing Hongjoong's nails to dig in, Hongjoong wanted blood, he wanted to see Seonghwa blood, perhaps he would feel better about it all somehow.

"Give me a reason i don't kill you right now! like what i should've done when you first came into the shop!"

Seonghwa couldn't help but smirk, Hongjoong was always brave even at his lowest, Seonghwa watched as Hongjoong pulled out a shiny tiny knife and held it against his throat, slightly piercing into Seonghwa's wet skin.

Before Seonghwa could come up with a response, there was a loud bang at the entrance of the prison revealing a tall man that Seonghwa hadn't seen before, out of breath, heart racing, his hands on his knees, taking the deepest breaths ever.

"Hong- Hongjoong, we have to go- the redcoats are getting back up, we need to go to my hideout right now!"

The man's voice was deep to Seonghwa's voice, and Seonghwa noticed that Hongjoong eyes softened when he saw the man come in, as if, this man meant a lot to him, Seonghwa felt the burn of jealousy now, but he didn't dare to show it.

Hongjoong nodded, forgetting that he was angry with me, as he swiftly put away his knife, and sighed, there was a sense of panic in him now.

"Okay, let's go- wait wait, who the hell is this?" The deep voice said.

Hongjoong looked back up at Seonghwa, with a groan "Yunho, This- this seonghwa, remember that bullshit thief i told you about? this is him."

Seonghwa awkwardly smiled at Yunho "Hi-" he whispered.

Yunho rolled his eyes at him, "Okay whatever, we have to go!"

Seonghwa came up with a idea, "Wait, do yall like sewers?"

Hongjoong and Yunho looked at him bugged eyed "Huh?"

Seonghwa unpinned himself from the wall, and pointed to old sewer, he could hear the water down there,

"The british won't find us, i swear." Seonghwa said

Yunho laughed "Maybe this thief is smart, i didn't even-"

There was a sound of heels and feet hitting the ground, as Hongjoong called them the british heels, they were these black shoes that gave them that clicking noise.

Without wasting a second later, they all went down the sewers, it was a older sewer, it reeked, so gross and disgusting, rats ran along the edges, squeaking at the new guests, thankfully there was torches on the walls, giving the dark place light, faintly, however, the sewers echo so they needed to be careful.

They stopped once heard the clicking noises above them, and yelling in their harsh accent, adrenaline rushed to Yunho, Hongjoong and Seonghwa, the thrill of being caught, finally there was no voices left, they moved down the disgusting place.

Spider webs found their places on the very top, the water beside them was still, and a mixture of green and yellow, weird objects were in water, bones, old boots, drowned rats, and other odd objects.

This sewer stopped being years ago, once they discovered better ways of being sewers canals, and was used to go to one place another secretly.

They made it halfway there when they heard those clicking heels in the sewers, goddamnit they were checking the sewers, out of no place to hide, they hide in the corners, hoping the light wouldn't flicker in the wrong direction and reveal them, their hearts raced, the flame dancing in the shadows.

There stood a redcoat, tall, pale blue eyes, yellow teeth, a musketeer in his arm, hugging his chest, he slowly approached the hall they were hiding in, their skinny bodies rattled in the dark abyss of the corner(s)

However, Hongjoong watched something happen, Seonghwa's eyes flickered a bright neon blue for a second, muttering something under his breath, then the neon blue was transferred to the red coat, he stopped for a second, he looked like a ghoul, before nodding and walking back as if forgot what was he doing or even looking for.

Deep stress-relief was sent out in Hongjoong and Yunho, for a second they were almost seen, Seonghwa eyes returned to their regular blue, not as bright, yet, Hongjoong was amazed, though, he figured it was just his mind playing tricks on him, starved and deranged.

The redcoats left finally, and they were finally towards another sewer opening, that lead into the main-town, though, in public the redcoats would still be looking for other prisoners that escaped.

They climbed up the old letter, that surprisingly didn't break when the weight of 3 men climbed up of it.

The fresh air gave life to their lungs after breathing the gross toxins that the sewer projected, they were finally free, not even close to the prison, and rain seemed to stop almost magically.

Yunho's smile was as bright as the sun, he was free, it was great, he finally felt alive in his own skin, he had been locked up as a child, for killing his abusive father, yet, they found no evidence, so he just rotted in prison with a trial or witness, but he didn't need to worry about that anymore.

Seonghwa looked at Hongjoongs gleaming eyes, as he tasted the midnight air, spinning around, Seonghwa found him absolutely beautiful, glowing in his raw happiness, freedom costed at a price, but the price was worth it every time, hongjoong still looked like that kid that Seonghwa stumbled onto.

Seonghwa just realized how different Hongjoong was now, he was no longer a boy, but a man now, the scars on his body show that, he fought hard and awhile, Seonghwa wished he could've been here sooner, but the curse on him stopped that.

He had no idea on why he was so fascinated by Hongjoong, but maybe it was because he so much passion and will to live and fight, and always assumed better would come into his life if he just kept fighting, a heart of passion, the song of strength was in Hongjoong's soul, and Seonghwa could read that.

The bright ended once they come back to reality and senses, they were now fugitives in the grand British Empire, but it only gave them a more sense to keep living,

The moon was full tonight, lighting around them, but their secrets were hushed by the moon, as she hid their faces and bodies, but gave them light.

"Let's go to my hideout and we can work out our plan from there." Yunho said, they both nodded.

They carefully walked through the town, in towns hundreds of alley's, secret passageways that the people built so they could hide from the public's eyes which also meant the British eyes.

They see a group of redcoats, asking people about any strange folk or prisoners they've seen, there was some redcoats bashing through houses, throwing their things out and searching for any hidden person, it looked like a madhouse.

The screams of women and children filled the air, as children's stuffed animals were ripped away them, and women watched their beloved things get thrown, their men, getting thrown around as they tried to protect their families.

But the redcoats were the devils own very sons, they knew no empathy, the whip marks on men showed that and the screams of women meant nothing to their ears.

But hell poured down when they lit fire to the houses, Hongjoong's, Yunho's, and Seonghwa's heart broke at the sight, family's being destroyed right in front of them, memories burning into the night, a beautiful night twisted into a nightmare.

Seonghwa watched him as tears fell from his eyes as the flames reflected in his eyes, he used to love humans, since when did they start being so cruel? have they always been? was this their purpose? how come their emotions are so beautiful, and mean? Seonghwa remembers the day they their emotions got carved out of the ocean, so they would feel the earth's heartbeat.

"Seonghwa- we have to go-" Hongjoong said breaking him out of his sorrows, there was weakness in Hongjoong's voice, this was his home.

Seonghwa nodded, and they walked away, but Seonghwa could do one thing, he closed his eyes, and whispered a chant underneath his breath, and the rain started to pour moments after, the thick clouds covering the moonlight, and taking all of the fires out.

Seonghwa's heart felt happy, perhaps he wasn't the evil goddess he once was, but he could only stay away from his deep tempest that flooded his being, his nature, for only a little bit.

He couldn't feel vulnerable, no such things existed in Seonghwa's world, after all, he was the mother of the sea, and the sea always needs it strong mother, and the seas wrath was not like any other, the wrath took others, but at very bottom, was peace.

The waves far away, called for it's mother, already missing her, Seonghwa didn't have a lot of time, before he needed to go back.

But he swore he was never going back without Hongjoong, what Hongjoong didn't know, is that the sea called for him to.

And Seonghwa understood that.
