~ Newfound Meet ~
Summary: In which, a new bond of friendship is formed that of which came from a grumpy old cat. Reconciliation and talk are much needed to be discussed.
"What are ya lots of kids doing here?"
Familiarity seeps through you at the other (obviously more tolerable) green cat monster that found his way to where all of you are currently gathered. You can probably surmised his perspective of this situation that may not be somewhat favorable on your side (with you being by yourself compared to a group with three) of being viewed of this conflict as one vs three.
But this just means, to your perspective, the situation might fall more favorable on your side than you thought. So long as you won't mess up anything to this opportunity being presented. In other words. .play the 'victim' of this situation. It may be not really honest, but when it comes to this circumstances, you are more than willing to act such dishonesty (or was it also half-truth that you are a victim?).
You aren't quite sure how much conversation has the green cat monster heard from earlier. You could only hope not much, otherwise. . .it would be a bit troublesome.
Well. .there's always that method if he did hear and knew the truth. I could just , nodding internally at your thoughts before starting on your act to this time around. Not to mention, you were too much in the mood from the atmosphere of the tension, so your emotions could be thought as believable and genuine enough.
"...Please just let me go back to my Brother!" You started, having your phalanges holding on tightly to your chest as you frantically looked back to the group who were alarmed not only by the sudden newcomer but also the act you were doing, "He's waiting for me back home. ."
With your eye sockets fully narrowed to the point that the water works (aka tears) might even do the trick, but unfortunately, you can't. You watched at the corner of your socket from behind that the green cat monster had his attention to the group of three, which you were back on concentrating to your side. This was the chance. . you need a miracle at this point.
"W-what? Hey! We didn't even do anything!" The human in the group spoke up while holding on tightly to the others, as if to keep themselves balance and supporting the now weakened monsters.
"..Ha! So you plan to be the victim?!" The annoying cat monster snarled, with you keeping reign of your thoughts and feelings. It was clear this was a provocation and they saw through your act, somewhat, but maybe. .just maybe, the same can't be said about the newcomer.
"But you were about to do something to my Brother if I didn't help you!" You exclaimed in return, expression now one of that being concerned. Two can play the game, after all.
Mixing a bit of truth to your words and mildly twisting of change here and there would certainly do the trick.
"That's because you won't give the damn appl--!" Now that was a wrong move for them to say that considering that it just confirmed your recent statement to be true that will of course lead to,
"Agh, you loud kids get out of here before I'll do it!" Right on cue, it seemed that it was enough for the green cat monster to piece it all together as you thought it'd be and the result was more than enough to at least satisfy you.
"...You..!" It seemed that the cat monster was more than stubborn than you thought they would be, no surprises there, but the others have enough common sense to not test the limit of another monster and especially that one who is quite infamously known to be that 'crazy' and 'cranky' old green cat monster by the other parts of village, you faintly recalled.
