Aenar had return back the week after, and since hadn't given Alicent a green light, the Prince was in the King's chambers building The valryam model, Viserys hadn't return so he took to the art consuming his boredom.

Suddenly the main door of the bedchambers creaking as it gets pushed open, revealing the Queen, dressed in burnt orange Myrish dress.

Unbeknownst the doors were jammed and locked. Striding forward into the cellar, Alicent catches him throwing his head back as he emptied the contents of his goblet. Her expression displaying palpable concern as she approaches him.

"Why are you drinking?" She inquires, and Aenar scramble to his feet, perplexed in the way she somehow managed to enter the chamber without him realizing it.

"Your Grace." He address her, inclining his head as he propped his hand against the back of the chair.

Blinking. Alicent appears taken aback by his formality, he never addresses her as 'Your Grace' but calls her name alluringly, nonetheless she moves to touch his cheek, but halts immediately when she notices the way he recoiled.

"What is the matter?" The youthful Queen asks carefully, studying him with such concern that it weakens his very being.

"I was convinced that I was going to die at Stepstones." His voice breaks.

"But you did not, thank the Gods." Alicent utters in relief, she grabs his arm, still unaware of his true grievance.

Pausing for a moment to steady his breathing. Aenar questioned. "Has it ever crossed your mind, that Aegon should be King?" Heaccuse, and Alicent straightens her back, retracting her hand once more.

Aenar mourn her touch, but force himself to look into her eyes as he await a response.
When nothing comes, he decide to speak again.

"Has your father being plotting to ursup the throne?" Aenar ask boldly, prepared for any response, but the one Alicent gives is barely anything at all.

"I-.... My father....I.." She stutters after a prolonged silence, causing Aenar to scoff, moving past her to sit on the edge of Viserys bed.

Alicent takes large strides after him, eager to explain herself.

"Aenar, my love, wherever thing that puts a doubt in your heart is false, but believe it or no. My father has never discussed anything about ursurping the throne nor have I thought of Aegon being King, even though he's Viserys firstborn son, your so-nephew." The Queen starts as she moves to stand directly in front of him.

"Perhaps, at one point. But that was an entirely different lifetime, Aenar. I had one, I've reasoned it through and though, but tis a foolish mistake if that were to happen."

"What mistake?" Aenar asks.

Alicent sighs, fiddling with her fingers. "Aegon being King... and besides he's your........." She swallowed.

Aenar furrowed his brows and immediately turned the tables around.

Alicent neared him. "Aenar, I'm human too, and sometimes our desires can consume our ambitions, but I swear it to you. I'd never support treachery, you should be our King. And I love you, I love you Aenar Targaryen, this life I do not even recognize, you've been the only light pulling me through." She admits on the verge of tears, and he finally look up at her.

Aenar tentatively wipes away the tear that managed to escape her eye. Despite himself, his lips meet the palm of her hand as he hold it close to her face, causing Alicent to smile.

"I am in love with you. Aenar Only you. I with you between the Heavens and the Earth. Upon every breath I breathe, I will not stop loving you, for you're my soulmate." Alicent reassures, and his heart soars.
